Epiphytic ball moss

Photos of our backyard power lines with Epiphytic Ball Moss Air Plant to us Floridians.  Click Here to read up on Air Plants in Florida, many different types. Or simply follow the Google Brick Road and find your own.

If you are not barefoot you are over dressed.... (this fits Bob and me to a TEE)

If a man speaks his mind in a forest and a a woman doesn't hear him, is he still wrong?

I'd fight a bear for you! not a grizzly though, not a Brown Bear, or a Panda. But maybe a Care Bear. I would fight one of those for you.

amazing girl on this horse...

I remember years ago someone giving me an air plant. Don't know whatever happened to it though.
Loved that video. She is quite amazing on that horse

That's a most unusual sight. Always enjoy the humor you share, too.

Sandra, how about a teddy bear? Fascinating video and info about the air plant.

Those moss ball thingys are real cool. MOM would agree with you about the shoe thing. For me I am always bear pawed, the only way to get around.

Goose

When I was a teenager I use to be fascinated with buying those little air plants ... someone must have made a fortune on that idea when they first started selling them.

Fascinating plants. I still wonder how they "get started" before they have anything to cling on with...

I love the way her horse screeches on the brakes, then backs up! Then takes a bow at the end. I remember the air plants, but I now pronounce them mini tumbleweeds.

Thanks for sharing the video. Thanks, too, for the neat collage of your air plant photos.

I had seen the video before but it is one of those that I would watch any time I got it...there are some that are just too good to pass by.

Air Plants always amaze me. I tried to grow one years ago but it only survived a year or so. Love the one about the bears, would fight a Care Bear. LOL!

Oh, how I wish I could still go barefoot. If I don't wear shoes every day I cannot walk when I get out of bed of a morning...not really in favor of having to crawl. I so love being barefoot. I have never seen anything like the moss balls I am so glad I get to see some of Florida via your blog. Fantastic pictures as always. Hugs

Great shots. I always love seeing them when I am in Florida. I am always barefoot too and when I'm not barefoot I'm in Birkenstock!

Great shots of the air plants, they look pretty cool. I love being barefoot but unfortunately shoes are required here when heading out. It is getting slightly autumn like now, a bit cooler

I'm in a coffee shop, catching up with your posts. My out-loud laughter at the Care Bear quip led to my reading it to Hubby. Your funnies are day brighteners interspersed among fascinating photos!
