God's Art in a Parking Lot

I found God's Art in the parking lot at my friends condo. Next to my car  there were several  planters with all this beauty.... no edits needed in these beautiful red flowers.

If you are a member of Google Plus, would you pop over to Grandma C's Place and comment that MadSnapper can't comment because of Google plus settings...

I can't comment on your blog, if your setting is set for Google plus only

and this is the way we sang this song in my Dad's Baptist Churches.

I have been away...trying to keep my job as a teacher. Now...I'm back.

Hope you feel good!

I like your latest header.
You never seem to miss a photo op.
Google + has not been one of my favourite spots. It allows people who are searching to profit from traffic to just tag along with anyone:(

God's art is always the best. I like the second version of the song better than the first. I enjoy some 'life' in my singing.

I like the balance of red and green in the third picture especially. As for the two videos I'm not sure I'd even have reconized it as the same song :)

i hate google plus comments. hate.

love the red blooms, though. :)

I know every word of that song and most others that I sang at Melrose Baptist Church growing up. I thought they belonged to the baptists. Imagine my surprise as an adult when I heard them in non-baptist churches.

Love the flowers. I see them around here too so they must not be tropical.

Best,
Bonnie

Our church has a contemporary music service and two traditional. I go to the contemporary one. You can feel it so much more.

Googple+ - you know my feeling on that.

The flowers are God's artwork.

That is some special art work for sure. And how I love your new header. How in the world did you do that? So if you have Google +, you can select your settings so the rest of us can comment. I don't think everyone who has it knows that.

Jeepers and wow. WHAT are these? They look like red arrows! And look...if you scroll up to the first picture, then scroll it down so you only see the very top three or four red flowers, they look like dragonflies or butterflies! The song...I had forgotten ALL about it! My favorite is the choir, WOW!! Phil and I will sit and listen to it together later tonight, too. This song had been a theme song for a show we used to watch, or else in a movie, I just cannot remember!!!! We are now going to ask our church music director to do it, and I do not know WHY our church never does it! OUTSTANDING post for a Sunday!!! I think of going to the promised land linking with the blood red arrow flowers, lots of symbolism here.

The unopened flowers make stunning patterns. The earlier posts of the courthouse are very interesting. I love it when history is preserved like this.

Thought I'd pay a visit to some old friends and see how they are doing. I took a peek through some of your recent posts and it looks like you're up to your same old tricks, which I'm happy to see. I loved both the versions of Bound for the Promised Land, especially the one from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir as I have friends there.

I'm afraid of Google +......so I don't click on anything or add/join someone's circles.

Those flowers are pretty and interesting, their leaves look similar to rhododendrons.

Pretty unusual flowers.

Imagine finding such beauty in a parking lot. I love the brilliant red.

The version in the second video is my favorite since it's closer to the version I heard when I was young. Also, you can take the girl out of the south but you can't take the south out of the girl.

Google+, don't like it, don't do it.

When you mentioned going over to Grandma C's Place is there a specific post that talks about Google+? I am following someone new who is a no-reply and she doesn't know how to fix it.
