Bob's Birthday Bash...

Bob's Choice for his Lunch Out for his birthday BASH... Think PHILLY CHEESE STEAK under the skylights in the Food Court of our local mall.... Not Kidding... that is what he chose.

We had a BLAST, after we stuffed ourselves, we hiked the length of the mall... here is the story in photos. Well, he hiked in the shadows, I SNAPPED at the shadows.

We found ourselves reverting to our childhood, looking at ourselves in the windows, putting quarters in the bubble gum machines.. It was a quarter, when we were young it was a penny.

We had to pass up riding the train, it was closed at the time
because we were the only KIDS in the mall.

There was a lot of giggling gong on...

We are now declaring ourselves officially regressed to our childhood... Yes, there were people staring and just like children, we did not care.

Double and triple wowzers!!!! I love just seeing the mall, and then adding you two makes it even better! That wonderful mall has just been sitting there waiting for you to snap it! LOVE the little trolley vending machine holder, the train, it is a caterpillar, SO cute! That wonderful bench with the squirrel on the arm, is that a real bench for sitting? And it looks like you two had the whole mall almost to yourselves...it must have been a weekday? That is good too, if there had been kids you would have probably not been able to snap as well. Not strange at all, what could be better than cheesesteak???? I LOVE them and would love to try a real authentic Philly one. This mall just have really good ones since Bob chose it, did you have one too? This is an awesome together day!!

We can be responsible adults when necessary but it doesn't mean we have to grow up. It looks like you both had a great time. I love the photos of Bob in the cars.

Good to see you enjoying your second child hood. I saw on a post that you mentioned your old Rebel did a white out thing. My 1000D is doing the same. Did you ever find out what was the problem?

You two remind me of a quote that I'll revise: "Better to be out living life and having fun than sitting at home in an easy chair waiting for your birth certificates to expire!!"
