In our backyard, here in the sub-tropics, we know it is fall because the banana tree starts to do wild and colorful things... The variegated bush in front of it stays the same year round, the banana tree stays green, but in the month of October, the bottom leaves start to change colors.
ALERT! MadSnapper has found yet another editing program on-line.. Be on the LOOKOUT! she is Playing Again....
PicMonkey and Photo Shop remain my favorite, but if you like graphics, check this one out. piZap

When I think of Florida, I always think of early summer weather..and white sands! I've got to check out picmonkey..I've been using ipiccy to make mosaics and I'm getting bored with it.
Florida fall, gotta love it! Gorgeous photos!
I need to learn photo shop! I've never used any of them.

Such great texture on those leaves. Going to check out the new link.
Beautiful! I do love that speckled plant.
Dad had bananas on his tree one time here in cold Arkansas.
Is there anything about the banana plant that isn't cool? Including...ta da! BANANAS! Thanks for the suggestion. I am going to check out piZap.
I would like to have a banana tree. Yumm yummm
Blessings,

how bad is it that I'm looking at the second to last picture with the fringed leaf and I'm thinking I bet I could make something with that....lol
You do have a fall going on there!
The last picture is a winner today,at least in my eyes. Now I have to go check out the new program you mentioned.
I love the last picture :) A new picture editing program...wow...will have to check that one out.
Have a great day!!
Laughing over Madi's (love that cat) question? If you had a cow for milk and a Cheerio bush you would have all you need for breakfast.
I've always thought the brown leaves of the banana plant look like leather. I wonder if I could grow one in a big pot on my patio?
I like the way the banana leaves age and dry.
Oh, how pretty! Have fun with your editing and I will be looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Hugs
Great photos! I know I can't have beautiful hardwoods and banana trees all in the same climate - but I can wish. :-)
I love your fall colors!!!!
You make brown leaves look pretty...glad you find those sites
Our color here is mostly goldenrod and other October wildflowers.
Beautiful Autumn photos!
Greetings, RW & SK
These are not the usual Fall color photos but I love them anyway.
It is taking our trees a long time to change this year. Its fits and snatches...
You have more fall colors in your backyard, Sandra, than we have here in our VA eastern shore yard right now. The crepe myrtles still have all their green leaves as does the maple in the front yard. Yikes, another on-line editing program for you to have fun with!
Love the colors
