Our backyard pool temp has dropped to 68 F/22C... brrrhhh...not for me, but the frogs don't care... they jump in and I have to rescue them, they can't swim because it's to cold.
The pool temp at the YMCA where we swim each morning, is kept at 84 F/28C year round.
When the outside temp is 92 the pool feels chilly, outside temp is 60 the pool is like warm silk. But it is still 84 degrees.
(I don't put my face in the water, now you see why, Bob has no idea what he is swimming away from and TOWARDS
OR that his wife was taking his photo)
I don't care if it blows my hair around, she does care, so the same wind feels good to me and bad to her.... YADA YADA YADA BLAH BLAH BLAH

Cute!
Greetings, RW & SK
right now even that 72 degree water would feel warm to me although I still wouldn't jump in :)
Do those creatures in the pool at the Y have a membership or did they just figure out how to sneak in?
I'm with you Sandra, I don't like my face in the water even though I love to swim.

I like the wind to blow my furs.
Blessings,
Goose
I'm with you on the water temperature. Love love love the cartoon replicas of Baby and Jake!!!
I think Bob might need to do a little pool maintenance there reptiles in it. GREAT
Hugs Madi and Mom
I can't get past the "sight" of you rescuing those frogs!
Best,
Bonnie
Love your pictures today. John refers to my hair as "helmet hair." It takes hurricane force winds to make it move!!!!!
Oh my! 68 degrees...sounds like a HOT TUB to me! LOL
Love Bob's swimming companion. haha
I think some of your Florida heat has come up here. We're nice and warm after some very cold days.
Hee hEe My mom hates the wind because it blows her hair doo around lol
So you are a grog saver too! You talents never cease to amaze me!
a cold snap with a wind, too. :)
Bob really needs to look up and see the sea monster he's heading towards. ;)
Same thing with barns...some people love the smell, others hate it. I love the smell of a horse or a puppy...others go yuk!
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
You found two dogs that really look like Jake and Baby!!! I played with Pizap over the weekend, it is too cool, but unlike you, I have no imagination. But I will still play. The poor frogs!!! Here is the best part for me. Bob does not see what is coming behind him, a big green goofy sea monster with a tail tip like celery.
I need to find a YMCA, I want to swim! Our pool in our subdivision is not heated this time of year and we get so cold at night that it doesn't have a chance to warm up.
You are killing me with the cartoons added to your pictures....and....I want to come to your pool party. I'll be right over.
I am with you.....no head under the water...not for the fear of what I might run into....it's the fear of a really bad ear ache!!!!!
Do you all ever totally close your pool during the winter? If not, how do you paint it and clean it out???? OR--maybe you just drain it--and then refill it... ?????
Your hubby had better be careful. That big ole green worm may eat him up!!!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Wonderful that you have a place to swim year round! You are so adventurous with your artwork. I just download my photos and post them...maybe a crop or two, but that's about it! :-)
Yikes, Bob is headed straight for that sea monster. You would think the mermaid would warn him.
It is a matter of perception, but 68 still sounds a little cool for a pool. If the air temp is 68 that's short sleeve weather to us.
That is a very nice pool at the YWCA! Can you swim there anytime you want? It's midnight right now and 49 degrees outside! Brrr! We have the fire on and it is a nice and toasty 77 degrees in the living room!
the wind blows my hair, but I love it! lol so glad you save the frogs, my dad has to save his frogs in his pool too. :)
brrrrrrrrrrrr!
You'd love the warm of Italy :-)
