My Christmas Bouquet

Have you ever wondered......

Why people pay to go up in tall buildings, and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Why people say they “slept like a baby”, when babies normally wake up every two hours?

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are flat?

Thank you to my son David and his wife Deanna, for my beautiful Christmas flowers.

1.Because babies sleep so innocently & peacefully and with calm, serene expressions on their faces.
2.We not only press the remote button harder but also tend to bang the remote with the palm of our hands. How silly we are aren't we :)

Have a great day !

I don't want to sleep like a baby because they pee and poop in their pants and I'm not THAT old yet! Haha!

Beautiful flowers!! I love Alstromerias and they will last a long time.

We think we can squeeze out the last of the electricity from the batteries, I guess :) Beautiful boquet!

No, I haven't wondered that, but I do wonder about: "Sick as a dog," when my dogs have been mostly healthy for many, many years.

I love the flowers, so nice of David and his wife. I hope you and Bob will have a great and happy new year.

Forget the sleeping like a baby, I would rather sleep like a cat. They can curl up any where and sleep so peacefully.

Every time I hear someone say they are as "hungry as horse" I want to offer them a bale of hay.

The bouquet is gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing your bouquet. I love cut flowers because they areboth beautiful and guilt-free. I tend to love pot plants to death or let them wither away from neglect. To deal with the guilt, I now just consider them longer lasting cut flowers.

If I can resurrect them, great! If not, I can enjoy the pretty ribbons and bows.

Love Linda's definition of her pot plants...longer lasting cut flowers.

Love your thought provoking questions and the responses that were given.

We are a strange breed aren't we?
