My favorite home in Point Pleasant... it is old, colorful, fenced and gated, has flowers and trees and Palm trees... and this is the February "Winter" view
If you enlarge above photo, left top you can see the Assisted living that is on the street behind it... since i am not far from needing that facility, if one of you will send my half a million.... who knows....

truly awesome fence!
and such a beautiful home.
thanks for sharing. happy friday!
A very nice WINTER view :-) We are looking forward for the snow to melt and see the green grass.
I love the architecture of this home. The little windows and lanterns/light fixtures are great. I've always loved a white picket fence too!
I'm sure you won't be in need of the home just yet Sandra, but if you do, don't ask me for the money will you. lol
Beautiful houses

Oh, wow, if the inside is as nice as the outside, what a place! I love it...love the fence, love the gate, love those big 'pillars' that support the gate, and love that old curly tree in the one photo.
What are the orange things along the roof?
Oh, and I Love those little windows beside the fireplace.
What a beautiful home
So pretty and cozy! I really like the fence...it makes it look like home! :-)
it definitely has character and quaintness, too. thanks for showing what was on the gate (fish). :)
Very charming - love the white fence and flowers.
Beautiful! And I'm trying to figure out how the fish were made!
Sandra, if you ever needed the assiste living (hopefully not) you could set up an online giving site. So many others seem to do this...just saying.
Those are some real Florida looking fence posts. And such a pretty house.
What I really fall for here is those fish... Super-charming!
Love that old home --and the fence is quite unique...
What are the red things along the roof line????
Hugs,
Betsy
I also like this house, even if you had to remind those of us who live up here that you took these pictures during Florida's 'winter'. I, too, am curious about the red boxes along the eaves of the house.
What a lovely cheerful home, love the plumbago peeping through the fence.
One of my dear friends had a lake cottage this same color...I grew to love it as our friendship grew. She recently passed away and the new owners are going to tear the place down and rebuild. I will ask them for a piece of that painted board...perhaps I will make something of it for the garden.
I love these pics.Great post.I especially love the fences and gates.
It's a great fence! Enjoy your weekend.....
Looks like an original. I like to see older houses that were around before all the new money came in. Love the fence and flowers too. and those cute fish that look like Nemo!
Sandra I just completely loved seeing bright sunny photos today ~ how about some time sharing switch a week on a snow covered farm for some time in your sun spot lol I know after a week I would miss it here, but I need a warm day sun fix !
I think it will be quite a while yet before you need the assisted living quarters! That is a cool house and I love the fence. Enjoy your day and weekend, too.
Nice character to this home...the fence looks great with it.
Very nice. I like the fence and gate. This place has great curb appeal
I LOVE the color of that house. Cheery!!
The house certainly has a certain beauty about it! I would love to live there. Great fence!
What a beautiful home and grounds! You have great taste!!!...:)JP
Oh I love that fish gate - fun!
Do you accept cheques? ;)

Okay, add me to the list of those who want to know what the red things are on the roof line. Maybe lights?
I love this house with all it's windows and that huge chimney. The gate and fence adds even more to it's charm.
Very interesting pictures. We are all heading towards that assisted living.Mostly it is so expensive that many can't afford to go there.
I totally agree - I LOVE that house and the color - of course that is my favorite color! That is one reason Florida is so nice. sandie
