There are three kinds of men....The one that learns by reading, the few who learn by observing and the rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves. Will Rogers.
The Fence that makes good neighbors, needs a GATE to make good friends....unknown
UPDATE: I should have told you this fence surrounds a home that is a butterfly garden. She sells butterflies online. It is called Flutterby Gardens

I love Will Rogers!
Great pictures.
BEAUTIFUL fences and their floral surroundings! my kinda neighbors. :)
thanks for linking in, dear madsnapper!
That's a great quote by Will Rogers. It's one of the quotes used on my Nephew's Funeral flyer. He was only 19 - killed in an auto accident in 2011.
Beautiful blooms supported by such a well-kept fence. Visiting from Good Fences. xo
Gorgeous fences!! The sunlight, the flowers the homey feeling of a white picket fence...perfection.
Hi Sandra, just love your photos. Very pretty fences and flowers. Puts smiles on faces :D)
Good one...
I fall in the second category, Learn by observing :)
Such pretty fences with all those lovely flowers growing among them!

My fence
Those look like such friendly fences. I especially like the second quotation. So true.
What lovey neighbourhood fences. Gorgeous flowers!
Love your header Photo. Hooray for Will Rogers, He got it right.
Really nice post. Love the pretty flowers against the white fence. I like the title of your blog.
I enjoy a fence with flowers. Great shots!
Your fence shots are beautiful! You took the shots in just the right places. To me, the white picket fence with the flowers growing around it (in perfect shape, too) represents peace and hat everything is alright. For some reason, they always remind me f the fifties.
Beautiful photos! Whoever put up that fence and planted those flowers has a very artistic eye!
Although, overrun with flowering weeds, the fence has a clean look to it.
Lovely photos, picket fences are always so pretty and these are also beautifully composed.
p.s. forgot to answer your question from your comment. I didn't paint my header, it is a photo I took of a print on a wall in a visitors center in New Mexico.
An awesome sight of a fence covered in lovely flowers.
Gorgeous flowers on those pretty fences- I love this quote!
I love that overgrown fence. I am sure the butterflies love it as well.
Lovely fence and flowers! :)
Very pretty! Mama and I had a lot of plants that attracted butterflies at the home we shared.
Hi I love both the fence and the beautiful flowers. Pity there were on butterflies on them. Have a great weekend
Houses here are not divided by picket fences, but rather big walls. So i find it always refreshing and beautiful to see white picket fences in images, just like the ones here.
Hello there Madsnapper! I have been following and reading each post and I can always count on you to make me smile. I fell in love with your fence... I have pictured that fence in my head since I was about 8 years old. And I will probably dream about it, a station wagon and pearls tonight. Love it!
This is absolutely gorgeous, Sandra!!!!...:)JP
What a glorious garden. I would be stopping by with my camera every day!
This so pretty I could almost cry! I really am longing for spring and summer. Right now it's snowing here in Minnesota! Yikes. March snow brings June flowers? !
If I had a white picket fence that is exactly how I would like it to look! Beautiful....
This is a fence I wish I had! I've loved this style ever since I first saw one. And I'd want the flowers to go with it, too. :)
These are gorgeous photos!
Lovely, Sandra.
I really like the quote about the fence and the gate. You've captured a beautiful fence as well.
That is a great Will Rogers quote.
The fence is really pretty on its own but those gorgeous flowers really make it eye catching.
I love that fence....what a cool place...I love butterflies....great quote....outstanding post...made me smile
How very pretty! What an interesting thing to do - sell butterflies! Enjoyed the quotes, too! - Karen
Pretty fence and garden. Like your new shoes too. Love red, love comfy shoes.
what a pretty fence that is.
So pretty. Love the colorful flowers against the white fence.
Butterfly garden and sells butterflies has me curious. I know about keeping bees but butterflies?
Now that I got a spark of curiosity I recall growing them one year in our science class. It was a whole school project. We all went outside to set them free. Long ago though:( miss my teaching days and fun we had.
Super gorgeous pictures and post. Hugs
Beautiful fence scenes!
