Email Tale part ONE

I love email..  and I have 3 email addresses. Windows Live Mail is my love/hate in my computer email...
Web mail from my IP is my back up and Yahoo is my back up to my back up just in case email....

No one has the Yahoo address  but me, it is a what if I lost my internet and had to go to the library to send emails to let you all know I was still alive backup.

My Spam has become a source of entertainment to me. I enjoy driving Bob nuts telling him the subject matter.
I also spew breaking news all day that comes in my email. HE LOVES THAT!

Spam # 1.  Join OurTimedotcom and meet singles OVER 50...THEY know I am old but don't know I am married.... or they don't care if I am married.

Spam # 2. Even though THEY know I am of the age to meet and greet OTHER OLD people, they offered me the ALL DAY Paint Ball Package...Really? all day?
Do they have potties? do they Emergency Medical Service? Wheel Chairs?

Spam #3. Dear Sandra, your dog wants you to buy Purina Poppin Bacon Pops. THEY know I have dogs

Spam #4. Dear Sandra, get up to $1000.00 cash in SEVEN MINUTES.. quick on-line approval..THEY know my name

Spam #5.  You have received a cosmetic injection package. THEY don't KNOW I don't need injections... I need liposuction to remove what is there.. Bring on the spam for liposuction.

Most of my spam gets automatically sorted into a spam folder which I rarely check on, except if I'm waiting for something which should have arrived and that might have got sorted wrong. I've never used Windows Live Mail.

We also get lots of similar "offers" usually from one specific site somewhere in Canada. I send them all to trash as trying to unsubscribe is of no use and would only result in MORE spam.

John loves to read thru all the "junk" too. It gives us some good laughs!

For more fun, e-mail yourself from one e-mail account to another to another. That should really send Bob off the deep end!!

Don't forget to "write".

Best,
Bonnie

I have gmail and it does a really good job of pulling the spam emails off into a separate folder...my isp does a good job too. I just delete without looking. My dad still has to wade through his- he has yahoo, I think.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets ridiculous spam, although my filter does a pretty good job of sending it all to the Junk folder.

I am glad I have my junk folder for spam, and the delete button :). Some of that stuff does grab my attention at times though :)

I seem to get less spam than I used to. And Kevin has a g-mail account, although he has no smartphone and no android. And guess what! I do have a yahoo account! Almost never use it, but it's there.

Good tip about the plant, Sandra.

I have a few also. And I didn't know that about Easter lilies. don't have any, but I'll know not to get any.

for the longest time my email was from my ISP and I used windows live to read my mail. When we got rid of our Windstream account and switched to Dish internet I had to get a new email address and went with g-mail. It's possible but I can't get my gmail to work through windows live. I have 2 different gmail accounts and use both, it's a pain in the butt though

We LOVE this!! Once I read just a bit, I started over and read it to Phil and we sat here and howled! All MY spams are for enlarging either penis or boobs, or getting Russian wives. Or a new mortgage or meet excellent singles, some of which could be serial killers. So you see how I could never do a post on this. Keep em coming, Sis, your day to day life is the best!

Thanks in a big way for the lily tip! I was going to get one, and it would have killed my cats!!!! You are their hero!

The injection/lipo-suction thing made me laugh out loud!! I never look at my spam...I just delete it. Seems I might be missing some laughs! :-)

Sandra.....thanks for the update on the Easter lilies. at least I will know to keep my kitty, Oliver, away from it. I will put it on the breezeway with my other plants. The dutchdoor bottom is shut and he never goes there. Thanks for the information

I don't seem to get the spam like I used to!!! It's a good thing, too!!!!!!!

Spam can be really funny as you just proved. I glance at it as I delete it from the Spam folder.

I have two gmail accounts and one Yahoo account. I used to have a HotMail account but never used it so I got rid of it.

You don't have to have Android or a smart phone to set up gmail. I set mine up when I started my blog.

Good warning on the Easter lilies, bad stuff for cats. In fact most house plants are bad. I got rid of my Peace Lily just before Georgia got big enough to jump on tables.

You are hilarious!! Loved this post. Keep 'em coming!!

I have been behind in visiting. I've missed your photos, phun and phantasy digital artistry from spam to backyard jungles.

Spam and personal messages on Facebook are a great source of entertainment and laughs. I have had so many letters telling me that someone has left piles of money for me.On the other hand the men who show their desperation and leave messages on Facebook are nothing but a laugh.

Spam seems to be the topic of the day on Blogger. Thought you might get a kick out of this one:

I have 3 email accounts and have no idea how much spam I get. When it comes in it goes directly into the spam folder which I never check. I don't use email much any more but for getting blog post alerts from blogs I follow. This post was great, you made me laugh reading about your spam email. Several plants are poisonous to cats so we keep no plants inside. Thanks for posting that about the Easter Lilies some may see the warning that did not know. Hugs

I haven't tried Windows Live Mail on my new computer but I have never liked it on any of my other computers. I have my gmail account which has been amazing ever since it came out. There is seldom any spam mail. Why don't you have gmail on your computer?
