Mad Mad Ramblings of MadSnapper

When you see the You Can Skip Ad in 6 seconds, Do you count down and click skip? Does ANYONE NOT click SKIP?
Mad Skipper here

I can still multi-task.... As Long As I Stay In The Same Room....

TWICE last week I put eggs on to boil, walked out of the kitchen and both times, Bob said I smell something hot, are you cooking?

The water was half gone.... Can you guess where I was and what I was doing? does the word Email ring a bell? My emails rings a bell when it comes in... I thought BOTH times, wonder who that is? I will just check to see who it is....

Has anyone guessed I am in love with Neon? This was on a birthday card from my friend Carole.

While talking to Bob, I took out a can of pumpkin for the dogs, picked up a can of corn to see if it was the last of the pumpkin and needed to be put on The List.

I OPENED THE CORN NOT THE PUMPKIN.

There are actually a few ads that I like. They come up with the NY Times crossword puzzles. Allstate's "mayhem" is one but I haven't seen it for awhile. Most of them I click off.

Best,
Bonnie

Always skip the adds and never walk away from the stove but did chuckle at your antics. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly

I never watch the ads!!! You sound so much like me.

No, always skip those ads but are we slowly being brainwashed? Makes me wonder. I have been distracted from the task in hand by the wonderful world of the Internet. More times than I care to admit :)

you're a mess. :) i hate when you boil eggs too long and they split and smell. ick!

I accidently watched a whole ad once......it just caught my interest, I guess! Our deal is water. Louis Dean and I MUST NOT leave the kitchen with water running. OR the bathroom!!! I can't tell you how many times I have run the sink over! Once it was in the drawers and bottom cupboards. Yep! It was a MESS!!!! Love what TexWisGirl said.....YOU, my dear, ARE a MESS!!! A wonderful kind!!!

Every now and then I am watching something on you tube and don't click to skip the ad because I am busy.

Oh, that with the pumpkin and the corn sounds so familiar. I have did similar stuff...same with something similar to the eggs.

But other times, I just have my back to the stove washing dishes, or something and almost burn stuff.

I usually skip the add. But I am surprised how long the adds sometimes are (at least on You Tube). The add can be up to 5 minutes long (when it's a promotional video). I really ask myself then, who would wait for it to play completely.

Ha Ha, you are just like me!! It is every day for me, you know my three kitchen disasters from lat week. THREE bad ones in three days. So maybe after reading this I do not have brain damage from my fall last year. Wait...you feed the dogs canned pumpkin? Been forgetting to tell you that I love your sharp classy green header, yet another thing I have been forgetting about.

I always skip the ads! I'm so sick of commercials, ads and half naked women on the front of magazines at the check outs.
I mix up words all the time, but at least now I can say that's my Hashimoto! :) I feel better knowing why I do it. LOL

Oh it is funny with the eggs on stove but not really. After the pan goes dry then what. Thank goodness your Bob was home.

I had once. I will be brief.

Hubby put the water and dish soap in the sink. Then he got a phone call for him.

Can you guess the rest.

Yes the water came over the sink and flooded the kitchen floor.

Thank goodness for me I walked in time to turn it off up to my ankles.

You do have to stay with things.

Nice what your friend Carole did for your Birthday.

Have a great afternoon.

Now I have to go back to your blog to see what other things you have got yourself into.

Always skip the ad! If I leave the kitchen while boiling eggs I take a timer with me. Yep it sounds pretty familiar to me, opening the wrong can or doing something that I didn't need to do at all.

Don't tell your kids, they'll be looking for a home for you!!!! I have days like that too!! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Those days are more present with me. I love that you blog about it, and laugh. What does Bob think of your mishaps?

Sadly, I've left something cooking on the stove and left the kitchen "just for a second" to check my email. Lucky for me, so far, my husband has discovered my neglect before something awful has happened. Sounds like Bob is a good man too. ;)

I skip the ads on YT as fast as I can, I hate it when they don't give the option to do so.

I never leave the kitchen when somethings on the stove because of the cats. I have email alerts on my phone which is usually laying on the kitchen counter so I can check it there. Love the corn/pumpkin mix up!

i hope you were able to salvage the eggs. Email is like that...I go to check, and before I know it, it's next week!
