As I disconnected the camera, I had The Urge to hold the camera under the lamp and see what happened.
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
(yes 3 snaps, you know I can't snap once)
this was NOT a planned post, truly it was not. This post is a prime example of why my hubby named me MADSnapper..
Viewing in camera I thought What is that writing?
It appears it is a WARNING that has been unseen for more than a year.
When the bulb burned out in my lamp the only way to replace it was to pay 15.00 and special order it. I wanted the bulb NOW..
I noticed a FIVE DOLLAR lamp that came with the bulb already IN IT..
You know the rest of the story...
and why would they put the warning in side where unless someone is sitting at there desk with nothing to do but snap, they would never see it.

Well, first things first. I want to know where you got a five dollar lamp! I guess that is the reason for the price...the bulbs cost more than the whole lamp, so you basically buy new lamps and not bulbs when it goes out. Jake and Baby's pictures are good! They for sure show each one's personality! Jake is wild and Baby has such a sweet face! Why, they would NEVER hurt a cute lizard...

You did make me smile with this post. I was in a ladies room today and liked the look of the light and shadows it threw on the ceiling, and you guessed it, I took a photo!!! So that's how you got the name MadSnapper? Love it! A kindred spirit!

I think that the warning is inside of the lamp because it concerns changing the bulb. But at least you discovered it :)

I have the urge to say, The Mad Snapper Strikes again!" for some weird reason. You always have some fun stuff to talk about. Who would have thought to look under the shade for a warning label.
I would rather sit in the dark than pay $15 for one light bulb. I would have bought the $5 lamp too. Most lamps don't come with bulbs though.
I've got that same warning on my lamp but I'm pretty sure the bulb in there is a higher wattage
So now I know where your name came from, I thought maybe you called yourself the Mad Snapper because you love taking pictures. You can find the most interesting things to photograph and talk about. I have never seen a lamp for $5.00 anywhere around here nor have I ever seen one with a bulb in it. I would go for the lamp too like you if I could find one at that price with a bulb in it. Hugs
The lamp on my desk has a similar warning but of course I have a slightly bigger bulb in it. $5 with a bulb beats a $15 bulb any day.
Really odd thar the writing sits in that lamp and it really does not add to the attraction:(
