The door knob thing is scary. I always carry hand sanitiser with me these days. I hate it when you finish in a public (toilet for us) bathroom for you and you have to touch the door to get out after washing your hands. That is why I like the new ones where you just walk in with no doors but a walk around a wall partition thingy.

Too funny about the ATM. Ugh on the door knob.

Did he (ATM "robber") really think he could get away with it :) lol

Yuck on the doorknob! I wonder what newspaper editors really do.

That 'wash your hands' one reminds me of how often I see little kids in a store, running their hands over EVERYthing, then sticking their fingers in their mouth. Scary.

Yuk on the door knob. How about the hand rails on escalators? Makes you think. Now to check those other items you have on your post this morning. Thanks Sandra :). Have a good one!

I don't see how Olive Garden could be in financial problems with the prices they charge--I know I have eaten at more expensive places...not often...but still $10 for a plate of pasta with a bit of a chicken breast in it...I bet it does not cost them $3 to make it.

If I am in a bathroom, I usually use a paper towel to handle the door, and if they don't have paper towels, I usually have a kleenex in my pocket.

Thanks for the smiles. Olive Garden is good ... but they do give you a lot ... cut back on the portions? :-)

I like Olive Garden, but the nearest one is 250 miles away - so much for that.

So good to wake up to MAD news!!! I want this to be a regular feature!! Instead of watching the horrible news in the morning, we can start our day with some real happenings that are funny as well! This is much better for our health. Call it Monday Mad News. Saturday night Live had just this same thing every week. But I AM a bit riled about Olive Garden. They are being called on the Carpet because they are too GOOD! And the bread sticks are one of their biggest draws, everyone loves them and we even take them home with us for the next day. It is so much better getting riled up over this than some kids getting shot.

Too funny the day after the bread stick story broke we ate at Olive Garden...seems the news forgot to mention they have unlimited salad too. LOL YES I won't touch a door knob in a public building!!

I like Olive Garden and love their breadsticks!
The door knob is gross, but not surprising. I wash my hands and constantly remind hubby and son. Have you seen those nose screens? I first saw them on Shark Tank and then I looked them up online. We're buying some. I'll send you a link.

I wondered what the heck a tool lane was.
I guess not everyone knows that ATM machines have cameras.

Soon everyone is going to be wearing hazmat suits when they go out...how the heck did we get to live this long...door nobs and germs have been around forever. Most people realize by now that their is a camera every where....except crooks LOL

So disappointed with Olive Garden. Last time we were there the salad was smaller and they were not happy to refill it, the same with the sticks...kind of cheap for what they charge for pasta.
Love your articles Sandra.

I had heard about the Olive Garden.

And the door handle - I am surprised - but maybe not as I am sick now with a cough and cold! lol

Also read about the Olive Garden breadsticks and thought what will they think of next! The story about the doorknob and germs was a bit unnerving...makes you think about wearing gloves?

I haven't been online much lately and I'm wondering if your camera has gone awry or if you are just enjoying sharing different news items. It's always fun to see what you have to share.

I love those "dumb criminal" features. Hard to imagine. It would probably be better for me to have fewer breadsticks.

I love Olive Garden's salad and bread sticks!! And washing out hands? We can never wash enough!!!! I have seen people leave the ladies room and not wash...well, maybe they use hand sanitizers..I don't know. But I tell Jim - wash, wash, wash!!!!! Door handles bug me! Not to the point of going crazy but I think about it!

You have fall colors at the tip of your fingers!!!!

You cracked me up here. Fun post.

I read the story about Olive Garden's breadsticks last week. If the quality isn't that good maybe they should change the recipe. Cheapskates.

I guess there are a few people left that don't know about the camera's at ATM's.
