Charms of Leffingwell - Delightful Backyard

A friend is someone you can do nothing with, and enjoy it....

What better place to enjoy a friend than in a swing or a rocking chair? In a delightful back yard full of sunshine and treasures.

My grandmothers house was only 2 miles from Charms and her house was much like Charms, with three sides of her house with screened porches and she had rockers on all three porches and also a swing on the front porch..

So many fond memories flooded my mind of swinging and rocking on her front porch...

Your grandmother's house and garden especially must have been lovely if they were like this. Loved these photographs Sandra. Have a great week!

Very pretty. Funny how a swing or a rocking chair can bring back such fond memories for most of us.

I've always banged on about the fact of how nice it would be to have swing parks for adults. Who doesn't like going on a swing and I'd be up for a slide or two. lol
Love the swinging seats.

my sis in wis would love those swings and rockers. she nags at me all the time to get some so she can 'move' when she visits. :) i prefer sitting still.

Oh my goodness, it IS so charming! Love the swing that looks like a cut off Adirondack chair. And also a place I could spend a lot of time.

My Mums place was like your Mums outside. We used to sit under it too and have tea in afternoon. We had an apple tree. Many time bong the apples would drop on our heads.
My swing was on the side. The four seater . Two and two across from each other while sitting. Dang it. I never took a picture of it. I wish I had now.

Memories are golden.
