Lots of neat stuff there! I love jars of buttons. I've saved lots of buttons and should start putting them in a jar, too. You know those little button packs you get with a new shirt or top? I think I've saved every one of them.
What a refreshing and delightful post. With cooler weather coming, (at least in my neck of the woods), I'm also drawn to the lovely 'scenes' we can find and enjoy indoors. Such a wonderful collection of beautiful and interesting creations!
Oh MAN! I think you must have picked the same things that I would have. I even saw the price on the button jar! I had several pieces of that green glass, and had the exact same dessert dishes that are on the end on the left. I even had TWO, just like these. The fourth picture with the yellow chandelier, it is AWESOME!!! I adore it and it may be my favorite here. LOVE the green edged plate/dish!!! And the way they made chimes by hanging flatware from a coffee pot. I WANT the pink ladder!! I might could buy a wooden one that looks like this and then paint it. So much else I love, but these are just my favorites. I can now see why you are WILD about this house! How many posts more? I do NOT want it to stop!!! Don't delete any photos, post them ALL! Also, this gives me decorating ideas, and I LOVE that!
I think I am in love with the big jar of buttons! Nice collection of things that you likes and I see why you do. The salt and pepper shakers are very cool.
I saw several things I want, like that jar of buttons. Awesome place. I remember those bronzed baby shoes. My parents did that with my brothers but I don't remember is they did that with mine or not
I think I would go nuts in that place. The vases on the mantle are terrific. I'm looking for something like that for our brick mantle. Its so narrow that most of my stuff doesn't fit on it. Salt and pepper shakers are neat too. Buttons,,, my Mother in law always had bottles and cigar boxes filled with them. Not exactly sure where they are now. I know they are in a plastic tub somewhere packed away in the garage.
She does have a nice selection of some very pretty things. I like the green glass....but like we have said before....it is time to get rid of stuff instead of buying more. Start saving your buttons...at $32.00 a quart....it would be worth it. But maybe there were old ones in there, too. Interesting, my dear....thanks for posting.

Ignore my e-mail. Seems the third try is a charm. I would like that bottle of buttons please.
