Canine Christmas-Caring for Canines

I was hugged by a Dalmatian and loved it

This is the new Animal Ambulance Vet Care Express, To see there website and more about what they do for our two counties CLICK HERE
Photo below from their Facebook Page

I met two of the team, they gave me a sticker for my front door, that warns our fire dept there are dogs inside.

Manatee County Mosquito control was on site, explaining the need in Florida for
prevention of heart worm and other diseases that can harm our pets.

Our mosquitoes are not quiet this big... but close...

The planners for the Festival made sure there was water and the vendors had treats available for all the dogs. the hibiscus was by the water bowl and who could pass it up? NOT ME

That's It for this years Canine Christmas...

Love the Dalmatian. That is one huge mosquito.
That dog treat bowl is so cute.

I think that those Vet Care people are doing a great job. I wish we had ambulances for animals on that level here as well. You have veterinarian and their practices, they will come when there is need, but these guys seem ready for anything.

The Vet Care Express is a great idea. I've never seen anything like it. I love the treat holder for the doggie biscuits.

What a wonderful thing to have that Vet Care Express. When I lived here alone, I couldn't get Princess in the car when she was bleeding internally. Had to get help from a neighbor who fortunately was home. It was one of my worst days. I checked all the posts and feel more hopeful than sad for all the dogs needing a home. Thanks for this.

NOOooooo, I don't want it to end. It is such a long wait in between! Love the dalmatian and I wish I could have seen the hug. I read about the ambulance. Anyone can call them and they will come? Good idea, but it must cost a fortune! I bet it is one of only a few in the whole country. They fixed everything up so cool! The PAWS water, the doggy treat table. I know not to keep standing water in our yard because of mosquitoes, maybe that means birdbaths, too. Do you have many in your yard? Do they only come out at dusk? What about Jake & Baby, are there some kind of regular treatments like there are for fleas and ticks?

Great, great, great! I'm sad this is the last post but I have thoroughly enjoyed the series of doggy photos. I thought it was wonderful that the fire guys gave you a sticker to let them know a pet would be inside. Thought the ambulance was such a great idea for people who have difficulty leaving their homes, for anyone really, and I would also like to be hugged by a dalmation :) You take great photos Sandra!

You are a hoot. If I hung around with you.

I would have to start wearing depends.

I liked the last was good.
You got a sticker thank goodness you never went in-front of the firetruck. It would be squish, squish . Sandra all gone.
