Murphy Came By AGAIN

Thursday, November 13, 2014... Murphy Came to visit...AGAIN... My Beloved Canone Rebel T1i  is off to visit  Canon USA for a couple of weeks to be repaired at the cost of 209.00.... to old for warranty, to expensive to not repair.

Today, Saturday, I have plans to attend Canine Christmas Festival and I need that camera...

The Thing Is... my Nikon Coopix back up camera that rides in my Jeans Pocker... QUIT ON THE SAME DAY. it refuses to turn on about half the time...

Jake wandered in my pic with my shadow, can you find him?

SOOOO Meet My New BFF...Canon Powershot S600 HS purchased Friday AM at Walmart with the promise if I don't like it, I can return it within 15 days.
I spent ALL day Friday reading the on line book and learning what is what.
Sure, I could just use the plug and play Auto... but I don't want to.

I LOVE IT!

All of the above  pics were taken using Auto Snap!

And the next post you see will be Canines from the Festival and we will all know If I Keep The Camera...it fits in my jeans pocket like a glove

Also it is sooooo pretty and RED

Isn't it weird that these things seem to happen at the same time? I agree with Rebecca, that is a pretty camera.

First of all, I think you need to make some new friends. Obviously this Murphy is not working out!
Secondly, love that red camera!! I think it could help you find new friends!!

Best,
Bonnie

Yes I know I could have waited before snapping my button. But just wanted to say I loved that first shot also. Okay, think that's it for this post. Tell that Murphy to get on his bike and pedal on out of there ;)

I hope you like your new backup to the backup camera. I have an older version, a Powershot A570. I like that yours still has that little handle on the side and love the red color. I feel tempted to get one, but Murphy has not yet visited my camera department.

Well, that's a great reason to pick up a new camera! Looks like you're already having fun with it. I got a new Sony mirrorless earlier this year, but I still adore my little Canon power shot.

So sorry to hear that about your camera and I know how much you liked the camera you slipped into your pocket. I find I don't use my Canon Rebel as often as I should but I do love my Panasonic Lumix x 20 optical zoom and use it most of the time. My zoo pictures were with that camera!

One of my cameras is almost just like that - except in boring black. You are going to have fun! I remember your fantastic photos from this fun event last year. And yes - you did need a camera and fast! Can't wait to see what you will show us this year.

Sorry to hear about Murphy, but glad you got a replacement digital. Thanks also for dropping by my blog and explaining what's going on with the Lightbox issue. I've had news from son that my laptop cannot be fixed so I'm still using his and trying to cope with the different programmes he has on it.

I like the looks of your new PowerShot. The colour is great making it easier to find if you set it down somewhere and then forget where. NOT that YOU would ever do that. :))

Oh, no sweet Sandra! Sorry Murphy came to visit again. And your cameras...now that is not a good thing. That red one sure looks like a dandy though. Small cameras that take amazing pictures are the best! Pooh and I are thinking that Jake makes quite a lap full...but how sweet it must look when he is in his dad's lap. Hugs

And by the way we saw Jake in the picture. Hugs

I like that red camera! I considered red (that was available on one model) when I got my camera recently.
