What ever we call them, they have been and still are wreaking havoc on avocados that weigh 2 to 4 pounds each...
.
I argue with Bob that they need the fruit more than we do.. he disagrees... the big problem is...
Jake kept putting on weight, he never has before.. then we figured out the Satanás Squirrelies are knocking down the tiny golf ball sized and Jake is eating them seed and all... I just caught Baby after she ate half of a 2 pound one.
we try to do avocado patrol... but they find the first.
Critters in the trees eating them, critters on the ground eating them...
THE PROBLEM IS
BOB IS NOT EATING THEM
Not the first time, Not the Last Time

LOL can I come over and get rid for you? Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
We love avocados Hubby and I split one every night with dinner
You have grown some amazing vegetables. We both love avocados. Wish I had one of those trees here but I suspect we would have the same trouble with our own El Diablos ;)
I think that might annoy me more than the wallabies eating my herbs.
Those darn squirrels would have driven me crazy!!! I feel bad that Bob did not get to eat his avocados. At least, the fruit is gone so maybe those squirrels will move on and bother someone else!!
Sorry, I can't stop laughing at these photos!!!!! Pesky but cute!
that is sure frustrating - I wonder if there is something ok with all to spray on there to keep them away?!
have a great November!! time is flying by...
Smart squirrels and dogs, they know a good thing when they find it. I would love to come feast with them. Sorry that Bob is not too pleased about the feasting. It is just super that you can grow your own avocados right in your yard. I would so love to be able to do that. There are so many squirrels here if we had avocado trees there would be war between me and the squirrels for them. lol Hugs
little munching monsters! too funny on the dogs, but i'd worry the pit would get stuck! :)
♥ lol Too cute, adorable captures and yes squirrels need to eat too. =0)
I love avocados and would be very annoyed that the squirrels were eating them!!
NEVER FEAR MS, I, MADI, WILL FORM A SQUIRREL POSSE WE'LL BE THERE LICKETY SPLIT TO TAKE ON THOSE TREE RATS.

They are very stubborn little creatures. Love your shots!

The squirrels are my nemesis! Your fruit looks great though.
I thought Bob likes this kind and eats them. Do they make the dogs sick, or just gain weight? Does the name refer to the squirrels that eat them? We have this big kind in the grocery stores, lots of them. And they are expensive. We only like the little bumpy black ones.
Those are large avocados! I wish I had a few of them. On my list of things dogs should not eat avocados is on that list. That is one lucky squirrel! They are a healthy fat....
I love avocados and would be very upset to see the squirrels eating them.. Those little devils.. Great photos and post. Have a happy week!
I am not an avocado fan so i would gladly let the squirrels eat them if i had a tree however I would insist they clean up after themselves and not leave them laying all over the place...lol
We don't like to squirrels either! They eat our pecans but it would literally break my heart if I had those avocados and THEY ate them instead of ME!!!!
well, you know me. lol I love these little cuties, but I don't like that your pups are gaining weight. :( love your pics! I love squirrels. :))
The pictures of you catching them in the act are priceless! I never thought about them eating avocados, but, why not? I tried to figure out what a squirrel was eating as he sat on the fence today. Still don't know what it was.
Sneaky squirrels! Jake and Baby surely need an avocado every now and then, though, right?
I hope Jake doesn't cause himself trouble with those pits! Squirrels sure can be stinkers!
