Valentine Surprise...


Thursday AM my neighbor brought us a plate of Valentine Fruit. She received a fruit flower basket and shared with us. Thank you, Kay..

Can you guess what Bob and I ate FIRST? as in Immediately?

I did guess correctly. YAY! They probably would have been my first choice too but the whole plate of fruit looks dilectible!

i have never liked chocolate covered fruit. i'd have gone for pineapple and natural strawberries. :)

Looks delicious...I was guessing pineapple. I did not even realize those were strawberries before I guessed. But would have guessed pineapple anyway. At least I think it is pineapple!

What a sweet (and generous!) neighbor you have! I don't know if I could be that nice. lol! It all looks so yummy and I would have eaten the chocolate covered strawberries first, too. I love 'em!

Before I read your answer I thought I don't know what they ate but I would have gone right for those chocolate covered strawberries :)

They are delicious indeed! One of our local grocery stores usually has a lady dipping the strawberries and handing them out as treats to the shoppers. Hoping, I suppose, that somebody will buy a whole package of them. And they're very expensive. Probably because they give so many away. If you buy a half-dozen or a dozen you're actually paying for those freebies handed out to other customers!

Yesterday we got a box of chocolate covered strawberries sent to us from our daughter in UK through Edible Arrangements. yummy but scary. they were too big to be organic:( Sad to see them as big as clementines.
