Return Of The Moss Rose

This is beautiful, but last year it had two colors. Moss Rose dies down during winter and comes back in April. Click here to see same stump, same planter, same plant, mix of yellow and pink...... so where are the pink flowers? Any ideas?
there is a lizard in all three pics, can you find him?

Click Here for 7 prior post on this beautiful flower. Pinks, reds, yellows, orange, I love them All

It is a beautiful flower and plant. Weird though, what happened to the red? I found the lizard, cute!

Very pretty and the old stump makes a great table for it.

I have not had moss rose in many years but I love the bright colors. Funny that pink is missing this year! I see the lizard...he is in dangerous territory!

I like the old stump as the table for the wood rose. I wonder where the pink is too.
Different weather??
Found the cute lizard.
Thanks Sandra for your condolences.
I really appreciate so many's love and concern.

Beautiful. Mom's were multi-colored too.

I may just need some of those for my rock garden.

Very pretty rock plant. It's certainly grown since last year, which is good. It's odd how plants change colour. By the way, the thumbnail on your blog list for A rich tapestry (my blog) takes you to a different website when you click on it. Was just curious to see a different photo which doesn't relate to my post for today and clicked to investigate.

I found the lizard in all three! But I won't divulge and ruin it for the others. I love the stump and the cracked pot, together they are almost as good as the flowers. No pink is a huge mystery! Have you tried Googling Moss Rose colors? Let me know if you find out.

Let me know about the magnifying glass. There has to be strong sun. Phil and his brothers killed ants this way growing up. Wood will burn holes in less than a minute. I think the stronger the glass, the better results.

I love Moss Rose! I need to go buy some to plant here. Your yellow is beautiful!

the stump makes a nice display stand for your beautiful moss rose. I found the lizard but I had to look real close

I see him on the right edge of the stump! Don't know what happened to the pinks, but the yellow is sure pretty. I once had a flower bed of irises and they were different colors, but they eventually ended up all being an off white color. Never did know why that happened.

Yes, indeed I found him...I like the two colors, but would be happy if I had either version.

BTW, Tootie's mom got a kick out of your post yesterday.

I think they are wonderful flowers. They are annuals up here, of course. But they come in such marvelous colors. And I did spot the little lizard.

Beautiful plant. I don't know where the pink is, but I wouldn't mind if it never came back. The solid yellow is just gorgeous. I like it sitting on the stump.

I was hoping on of your commenters knew why there was no pink. Plenty of them found the lizzard. I was not one of them.

It looks pretty with all yellow flowers. The lizard is teeny-tiny! Maybe just a baby?

Beautiful moss rose. I guess the yellow was all the was up to blooming this year, maybe next year the other will come back. Yep, I spied that little critter on the edge of that stump. Very nice pics sweet Sandra. Hugs

The yellow is very pretty. I'm thinking the yellow must have been the stronger plant so it took over.
