Pink Panther ride in the mall |
We had fathers day lunch in the mall for Bob to have a Philly Cheese Steak in the Food court. Our table faced the rides for little kids... You Can Guess the Rest of this Story.
Since I am a tad embarrassed that I took these photos and that I am posting them, I decided to tell an embarrassing story with them.
Bob was watching the news and came down the hall to tell me he saw a crowded subway on the news with everyone standing holding on the the strap. He held up his arm like he was holding a strap and his nose was right in his arm pit. He said can you imagine this?
I automatically raised my arm and YIKES! I said what is up with this? then i remembered.
Yesterday I got in the shower and just as I put the shampoo on my hair and lathered, KABAM, boom a looma boom alooma THUNDER...I madly rinsed the soap out and leaped to safety from the lightning.
Without washing under my arms and no deodorant.. and PROMPTLY forgot it.
Sign me Henny Penny, Chicken Little
NO, I did not buy the dress, only because it was to small... |

Wow those rides look colourful ...
Thanks for the story !
Have a good week
All the best Jan
cute rides and I can't see me wearing a dress like that but it is rather fun looking.
Funny story too. I've gotten out of the shower before and realized I forgot to rinse conditioner out of my hair :)
Can lightening strike you in the shower? I'm pretty sure it could strike you wearing that red dress!!
Best,
Bonnie
Good Morning, Sandra! I am sure the kiddies love those rides at the mall. I do not think that dress is my style, even if they had it in my size, lol. Funny shower story! The lightning can be scary. Have a happy Tuesday!
you're a goof. i often wonder how i can get so funky. :)
MOL MOL MOL MS...YOU AND BOB CRACK US UP. I LOVE THE PINK PANTHER.
I MUST ADMIT TO HAVING OFTEN THOUGHT THE SAME THING WHEN I SEE FOLKS ON SUBWAYS...UGH EXPOSED PITS. TSTORMS AND SHOWERS WOULD HAVE ME DOING THE EXACT THING. I WAS SURE YOU WOUD BUY THE DRESS BECAUSE OF ALL THE BANGLES AND BLING. LOTS OF PHOTO OPTS ON THAT DRESS
HUGS CECILIA
That is a funny story Sandra, you crack me up. Thank you so much for visiting my blog while I was away. It has been fun catching up here. Have a great week.
Any kid would love that colorful ride!!! Bob's philly cheesesteak sounds good.
That is so funny about the deod. Long ago when I worked in an office, I realized after I got to work that I forgot deod. after my shower. I had to go to the store and re-dress in the restroom!
My cats would think that dress was a toy!
I like the dress...but would want a version of it in a shirt...not sure I would have the courage to wear it now. Lo would go for the rides..
Funny story...
Gosh, that panther looks HUGE... was it, or is that just you being up to your usual tricks? ;)
Too funny, Sandra! You are so honest! And you DO make me smile and/or laugh!
LOL...Sandra, you tell the most awesome stories (to go along with your awesome pictures of course!!)
Love the first Pink Panther shot!
I have always thought those rides looked fun. I love Inspector Gadget!
I would have jumped out of the shower too! I want to see you and Bob on the Merry Go Round there.
I'm glad you took these photos! And were safe from the lightning. And from jumping out of the shower. And that you didn't buy that dress. Lol.
You should TOTALLY go back and get that dress!!!!
I have said it over and over - you are such a GOOD kind of CRAZY!!!!
You should be short and ride the subway! Happened to me my first ride on subway in New York....was happy to get out and breath again...great photos!
you're so funny! I'm sure everyone's had one of those moments! I know I have! LOL! I would have worn that dress in my 20's. It's so pretty and fun!
That's a cute little ride for the kids. Love your story....LOL!
I've missed reading what you've been up to since I've been on blog break! I'm laughing at your deodorant story. It's too often that I find myself poking at my armpits to see if I remembered to put some on! haha! I love that cute dress, but I couldn't have worn one like that once I had kids. Too many extra pounds. lol!
Great story about where you and Bob went to celebrate Father's Day, Sandra, and another great story about the shower episode.
Loving that Pink Panther Ride and your edits.
Oh that was a funny story.
