This might look like a tiny cucumber,
it fell from on high during loud thunder.
The thunder roared, the wind was high,
And when it was over, with a sigh
I picked up these six who fell before their time.
IF Avocado's are fruit, then is Guacamole a smoothie?
If a priest blesses an Avocado, would it be Holy Guacamole?
Bob is playing the waiting game for this fruit to ripen

I didn't know some of that--at least I don't think I do.
Best,
Bonnie
We play that waiting game, too. At least you have them in your yard..I have to buy them, and then wait for them to ripen. I fail about half the time. But Mark loves guac, so I keep trying. I wish there was a better indicator that they were ripe...like watermelon or cantaloupe..at least I can thump those. HA HA
Good morning, Sandra
What is the secret to a ripe avocado? I love guacamole, yum! You are lucky to have them growing in your yard.

It really is hard to know sometimes, isn't it.
I knew about the alligator name but didn't know it was a butter or fertility fruit ones.
OOPS! I meant alligator Pear name. My brain got way ahead of my fingers...AGAIN!
You are the luckiest girl who has such interesting things either fall from a tree or you nearly step on it. In back yard.
You could do a documentary soon.
I feel that I am now fully educated regarding avocados. I had never had one and since it seems that they are all the rage these days I thought I would try one. I didn't like it.
All of the above. Sandra..what would we do without you!!! BORING!! That's what!
Hugs!!
Mona

Avocados are a tricking thing - I can't tell you how many I have thrown out - wish I had a tree.
It does look a bit like a tiny cucumber...looks so tiny in your fingers.
I've played that waiting game--and then tossed it! Arggghhhhh!
