There are only two reasons a woman should be talking on the cell phone, while sitting in the stall in Wal-Mart restroom.
A. she is calling 911 for help because she has fallen and she can't get up.
B. she is calling 911 because she is trapped in the stall and a killer is after her. (to many movies??)
My thoughts at the time.. is she taking photos of me under the stall? will they show up on Facebook? Is she planning a heist and talking with her cohort?

Please, no phone chatting in the rest room |

OMG. No conversation is important enough that I can't stop it to go in the restroom. There are lots of places in my opinion that people should not be using cell phones. I hate the ones that come to the deli where I work and while you are trying to wait on them they are also carrying on a conversation with someone on the phone.
This goes also for taking pictures there :D

I SECOND, TRIPLE AND QUADRUPLE THAT. I WALKED INTO TO A PUBLIC BATHROOM ONE TIME JUST AS A GAL IN THE STALL SAID "GET OUT OF HERE' (WHICH I THINK IS A PHRASE OF SURPRISE) TO WHOMEVER SHE WAS TALKING. SURE DID SURPRISE ME...I ALMOST GOT OUT OF THERE
GREAT POST!!

Oh my goodness. Please, I don't want to hear the pee or other noises in the background! People are so addicted to their phones.
Good morning Sandra, I have heard a few different people talking on the phone in restrooms in various places. So is not just Walmart. I find it very creepy!
I hope you are feeling better, have a great day!
Why didn't you answer her as if you thought she were talking to you? Now that would have been fun....
LOL....or a paranoid mom checking on the where about is her kids
I like Rose's idea. That would be hilarious just to see her reaction
Excellent advice! NO talking in the regular grocery either unless you've forgotten your grocery list on your island in the kitchen.
I think most post offices these days will not serve you if you are talking on the phone. Serves you right to be sent to the back of the line!
I hope I can remember Rose's comment so if this ever happens to me! Hahahahahaha!!
Yes talking on the phone in the restroom is just gross if you ask me!
I think it is called ADDICTION!
I too here that expression all the time. Get Out Of Here.
That can be a disturbing phrase if one is not knowing the meaning. Especially in a washroom.
Before that was Shut Up! Or close The door.
Family member used to say them on cellphone or even phone.
I like Kathys statement. That sure would be a great idea. To go back to the line for sure. If it took its place in ever province. I am tired of loud conversations in public.
Just saying....love your post. The only time I ever took a photo in a toilet cubicle with my cell phone was recently in the UK. A lady had taken her dog in the stall with her at the train station. Its tail was so fluffy and huge it escaped into my stall and rested across my feet. It tickled my funny bone - not my feet - and I tried to get a photo but by the time I got my camera out the tail had disappeared and I caught the sight of one dog leg, which was just as funny as it looked like it was sitting on the toilet. Just saying.....you think up some great posts.
And no I don't use my cell phone unless I need to contact husband who may be worried because I was in there way too long. It has happened ;)
p.s. could have also done with a cell phone when the door jammed years ago and we were traveling. I was in there for over half an hour before I could get any attention. Eventually a lady came in and I was rescued by a very surly manager who thought I should have gotten on my hands and knees to crawl under the door. I do not crawl on public toilet floors even if I could have fit under that tiny gap in the first place.
Totally agreed!!!

I agree with that!! Funny how you find reasoning
Why is it that people feel the need to be on these things 24/7 nowadays? I remember the good old days before cell phones and we got along just fine without being in constant communication with someone.
That is awkward. I've had the pleasure(?) of their company and conversation, too. Just weird.
😳
Hmmmm. I'm wondering what kinds of nervous diseases will one day be attributed to our addiction to cell phones. :)
