Monkey Shines - Follow the sun

There he lay, abandoned and gutless... Jake did surgery to remove the squeaker

I went into a SnapHappy Moment

and the next thing I new I was singing YMCA at the top of my lungs. Wonder Why
In waiting mode  for the MRI on my back my mojo has returned.  While doing my exercises  I had a good talk with ME.

I am choosing to be thankful it is leg pain and not something worse.
Some of you are dealing with losing your sight, losing love ones and/or pets, cancer or other  health issues and the world in general has gone quite mad. This change in thought made me think of not one but 3 posts in my brain...Welcome back to my dear MOJO...

6 am UPDATE Sat am...I slept for 7 hours 40 minutes without waking up. I shopped yesterday, the ALEVE IS WORKING

7 hours and 40 minutes of uninterrupted sleep, WOW. That's something I wouldn't mind getting.
Love the pictures of the monkey. I have to wonder why they put those squeakers in the toys, it's the first thing a dog pulls out

Hello Sandra, I am happy you got your MOJO back. Now I will be singing YMCA but not at the top of my lungs, hubby is sleeping. My dogs always had to take those squeky thingys out of their toys. Happy weekend!

Aleve is a wonderful thing. Glad for the good news. Now pity all those pet toys undergoing squeaker surgery without pain killer. :)

I am glad your feeling better today. I know we have our good days and our bad. So when we have good days. I am sure thankful and you are too. Nice sleep for you.
Today one set of member of my family is coming and my daughter is bringing a hot meal .Two weeks my daughter in-law came and brought us supper. How blessed am I. Sid is my cook but now he has another rest from cooking. I cannot stand neither cooking.

Enjoy your day my dear friend and if that Aleve is a reliever for you. Then Oh Happy Day!

Poor Monkey. We are expecting snow but is mild.

That is all wonderful news EXCEPT for the poor gutted monkey. He actually seems to change expressions. I do wonder what he is thinking.

Glad you are feeling a bit more normal...it is just not the same without the Madsnapper moments.

Sometimes I really have to give myself a good lecture, too. I guess we all do.

Once I get up from this chair I will do a happy dance! This is so great and I really like that your got your mojo and your wonderful spirit back. Now, did Jake, like a good surgeon just remove the offending object or did he eat it?

I am very happy to hear that the meds are working and that you were able to sleep properly, that means a lot doesn't it? And it's so good that you have found your Mojo again :) and poor monkey, but he still seems to be smiling though. Have a good week!

So glad to read that yiu are feeling better, Sandra. You are right that thinking about the sadness and tragedies affecting so manynothers can often lighten our own concerns or pains. Also good that the Alleve meds are helping with the pain.
