Bob...Again!

These photo's were taken at 2:30 in the afternoon, Bob was cleaning the pool, in the sun. I was in the shade taking pics of Jake and noticed the shadows on Bob's back. When I aimed the camera I saw this. My eye saw him in bright sun, the camera saw a black background.  I moved into the sun and took a 3rd shot but since it showed all the dirt on his shirt I deleted it.

Speaking of OLD things... Heh Heh Heh... it doesn't pay to keep pharmacy items on hand... I know this how???         Monistat Cream that expired in 2011 makes things worse not better... Imodium that expired in 2011 still works.
I used one and Bob the other... you can write the rest of the story in your head. If you don't know what Monistat is, you don't need to know.
Having learned this lesson in the past week, I went through the closet that stores Over the counter STUFF and almost ALL of it was 3 to 6 years old. This is a good thing because it means we did not need any of it for the past 6 years...

That's how my cupboard is, lots of outdated stuff. I occasionally clean it out but the outdated stuff keeps coming back.
Nice shot of Bob. It always amazes me how the camera sees things different than our eyes

Now I have the urge to tell you that with the outdated Monistat...well, this CRACKS me up. Okay, scratch that...I'll post a comment instead, "This was funny Sandra". Better?

Fun times--not. I find the same thing in our meds. Stuff is years old. I pitch it when I find it. I remember reading in Good Housekeeping that some medicines change chemically when they age. So I have always been afraid of old meds.

Love the BOB photos!
I went through ours last year when I took it out of the dresser drawers in the guest room and put it all up on a tall shelf in the hall closet! You know what the oldest thing I found in there? Diaper rash ointment / the prescription variety- for Amber and dated 1985!!!! I tossed all the other old stuff but I kept the ointment!

Had to look up the cream, lol, know what you mean though, another trial of getting old.

I like the way these photos worked out, with "black background" and the shadow patterns.

I know I have some old meds in the cabinet. I like your way of looking at it.

Good news...not that the Monistat made things worse...but that some items still work and you've thinned out.

Good pictures as always.

According to Grenville, Vicodin never goes out of date...hmmm wonder HOW he knows that?

Great shadow shots! Yes there are a few things that work after there expiration but not everything.

Oh, dear! I feel for you. That is one thing you don't want to make worse than it already is. Cool shadows on Bob's shirt. You have some great foliage. I, too, am surprised by some of the dates I find on things.
