Up Close and Perfect Dwarf Poinciana

I walk laps every day and this is yet another flower the sun pointed out to me... Yes, I carry the camera while I walk for Just In Case. Yes, I have 87 million photos of these flowers and Yes, I keep taking more...

They are gorgeous and we have none here. Or at least I have never seen any. I would never know they existed except for you. Maybe this is the first time you have snapped them with your new camera? My favorite is the second picture, quite lovely and exotic.

When I look at a flower so intricate, I am reminded of God's beautiful world that we enjoy. As for the sun "highlighting" certain plants for you, my mother always said "the sun is my best friend." She could "see" things in bright sunshine that otherwise she could not see.
Hope your day goes well.

I can't think of any good reason to not take more pictures of this kind of beauty.

... but each one is its own work of art, don't-cha think?
I'd never heard of a dwarf poinciana, but they sure are pretty! Thanks for the introduction!

They are very pretty. So how many laps do you walk? Do you know what the total distance is?
I've been wearing an activity tracker that counts the total steps for the day along with the distance. I try for 10,000 steps a day but when I'm not working it's tough to get that many in

I try to take my camera for a walk every day--I tell everyone it is my 'dog' and that it needs to go for a walk each day!!
and like you -- I often find myself taking the same photos of the same things every day--but every now and then--that same thing has a different view or color or insect--and it makes all those other photos worth it!!
love and laughter, di
