Windows 10

Windows 10 and Photoshop
Jake's expressions perfectly express how I feel about  Microsoft and their new Windows 10.

I am unable to install Photoshop with Windows 10 download... It just will not take it. I have used Photoshop 7 since 08 and when my friend Rich died I inherited his CS4 and CS5 and they were working great in Windows 7. NOT NOW...
I have worked myself into a snit reading forums on how to get around the fact that Microsoft saw fit to create Win 10 and not make it compatible. If anyone has found a work around please let me know.

I have PS Elements on laptop and it works because it was on there when i did the download, but if I remove it I can't put it back. that is what happened to the desk top.  arrhhhh

It also has caused mega problems with windows live email and that is why i changed to gmail...
Windows 10 and EMAIL look
PLEASE do NOT mention the word MAC  unless you are willing to buy me one..

Hello, Jake looks like he is sneezing. Cute shot. Sorry you are having problems with Windows 10 and Photoshop. I am sure someone knows how to get around the incompatibility.

Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Well you know we are no HELP!! I spend about 1:30 the other day labeling all my cords to/from computer so that I will hopefully be able to set it back up again after I move everything for them to get in this room.
I never installed windows 10.
Maybe you need the Geek squad to come out.

So THAT'S where you have been. In Snitville. I don't blame you! I am so glad I did not get 10. My Chrome will not accept Flash. Can you edit your pictures on your laptop, then send them to your big computer? I know that is a lo to do though. I think you can revert to your old os! I have heard someone say that. You should check it out. It may take a computer guy though. These pics of Jake are fabulous!! Especially the first one, I just started at it in wonder for the longest time.

What was wrong with your air, did the man find out? I found this out from your comment to Anne. You are just having an awful time with machines! I tried to e-mail this to you. I know I did put your new address in, but cannot find it! I need it again.

I sympathize with your Windows 10 woes, and that is why we have not changed to Windows 10. When our laptop needs to be replaced we will have to have Windows 10 and we are not looking forward to it. I hope you find work arounds so you can use your favorite programs. That photo captures your mood quite nicely.

I am so sorry you are having all this trouble with Windows. What a pain! Jake is ever adorable though, but I can tell by his expression his sympathies are entirely with you.

No help from me either, of course. But now I wonder if it is Windows 10 that's messing up my connection to my printer. I've had Windows 10 for a year now and I haven't had any problems, probably because I don't do anything with it. The only thing that keeps messing up is my printer. After many moons, without doing anything, I got a message, saying that the app that had caused my printer to be in error mode had been fixed. App? I didn't know I had apps here on my desktop. So I happily sent off a very important letter and thought all was well. Next time I went to print it didn't work again.

I know how important the photos are to you, so I hope you can figure it out. Do you have a geek in case you can't? I know you're the geek, of course, but a second geel? Sorry, long comment!

I recently had similar problems with Windows 10 so I reverted (restored) my old system. I just didn't have time to try and figure it out. It was easy!

I loathe anything that tries to push its unwanted self on me and mine!
Mind you, DH and I are both techno-phobes, but when Windows10 tired of asking us to download ... and starting AUTOMATICALLY downloading itself, well that was the last straw. Thanks to a couple savvy co-workers, I was able to uninstall 10 and block it from any further attempts at subterfuge. (I know that doesn't answer your question ... sorry!)

Love these pictures of Jake boy!

I could borrow Jake's expressions for some of my frustrations. Great photos.

I know you will figure it out.

I never used windows email but I did use live writer. Not anymore. My computer is like my closet...it is being cleaned out.

Hello!:) So sorry you are having problems with windows 10. Wish I could help you, but I don't know how to. So far, windows 10 is working just fine for me, and fingers crossed it continues to do so, but I hope someone will sort out all your annoying problems very soon. I love Jake's photos!!! Lovely dog with loads of personality.:)

It's too bad you can't just get Photoshops mom to call Windows 10's mom and get them to make the two play nice together

Mac's are no better lately. My latest update will not allow me to place photos into my blogs. That kind of has put me off blogging. In fact it seems that the companies no longer want software to blend seamlessly on multiple platforms. They are trying to make more money for their own stuff so we are now getting pushed around.

Sorry you're having so much trouble with Windows 10. Using Jake's expression tells me your are exasperated with it. LOL I wish I could buy you a Mac.

I came via Peters post. Though I have had my gripes with Microsoft this isn't their problem. The problem is Adobe. All their good software has to be hired. It stops folk stealing it you see. There is plenty of Shareware stuff out there that will do what you want. It's a matter of paying or learning a new workflow. Pinching software is no longer an option with Adobe. If you are a registered Photoshop user then just ask Adobe and they will send you the downloads and updates if not then tough.

I'm so sorry you've had this experience with Windows 10 - I heard so much (negative) stuff about it that I decided against the FREE upgrade and just stuck with my Windows 7 - Which I like just fine.

I'm really sorry about your issues. I wish I had the magic touch or words that could help you get it all worked out. ((Hugs))
