Driving to Publix this past week, I had to stop for this truck to back into Smokey's Glass.. I have a couple of questions for you.
1. Would you take a photo from your steering wheel if you had to stop?
2. Would you post it on your blog? Instagram? Facebook? or all 3
3. See the red light? would you sit patiently or impatiently knowing the light would turn green and you could not go?
I heard the new auto body shop that opened comes highly wreck-a-mended.
You already know I took the picture, I enjoyed it, the glass sparkled in the sunlight, and I did not mind waiting at the red light. I love watching people and cars at traffic signals

Hello, I am a people watcher but maybe not while driving. I noticed drivers in Florida are a little impatient and would beep if the light turned green and you do not move. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the week ahead!
Love the photos and YES, I would have done the same. The other day, I saw a Model T in the intersection in front of me turning. I propped my camera on the steering wheel and snapped! lol
i've taken pics from inside my car. a big truck like that doesn't bother me to wait for.
No to 1 and 2...I don't have a camera in my car. I have an extra camera but it is old and the software was found not to be compatible with the computer when I had it upgraded in 2013.
Now for #3. I would wait but hubby would be so bent out of shape at missing the light. I always asked him what is the rush WE ARE RETIRED. I get no answer.
I love watching people at stop lights too.
Hugs Cecilia
I probably wouldn't post anything, but I would be interested in seeing things and don't mind waiting a bit. I'm glad you did.
Since taking up photography I have developed a whole new attitude toward drivers who don't seem to have any place to go. They are probably watching for the snap of a lifetime. ;)
Hi Sandra, I love the pantechnicon across your way! Yes, to all three your questions. I'm not too sure how patient Grant would be if he saw the light turning green! Nowadays he may be patient; no way to test this theory as we are really off the main traffic where we live now !Thanks for sharing. Jo
I would/have taken pictures while stopped at red lights, waiting for cars and I've even pulled over to the side of the road to take pictures...I wouldn't post it anywhere until I got home, or , at least, to a parking lot
I have no problem sitting in traffic of waiting for lights.I just love driving, always have :-)
And that birthed a great post.
My answers: yes, yes, yes, and yes!
I have no car, so don't drive. But you know I nearly always have my camera, and if not the camera, at least the phone, which has a camera too... ;)
I would do just what you did. Good grief your windsheid is super duper clean!! It looks like there is no glass even there!
Opportunity to snap must come with no safety risks and then it would be yes of course.
Ha! This reminds me of the "commute-from-HELL" I experienced coming home last Tuesday. Already half an hour beyond my normal ETA, not two miles from home the crossing gates at the RR tracks began coming down. So disgusted, threw up my hands I slouched down and glanced over at the fella beside me ... who was apparently getting a big kick out of my frustration.
I need to remember to keep my windshield clean, but yes, I'd happily snap away if my phone wasn't going to pot. (Excuses, excuses ... lol!)
You know I would take the picture. I would very likely post it on the blog but instagram and facebook not likely since I don't use either of those that much. Whether or not I would sit patiently for the red light would depend on where I was going and how much of a hurry I was in
I would definitely take a picture..if I liked it it would go on Facebook and blog...I sit patiently for truckdrivers...well, most of them. Used to be they were the nicest drivers on the road but not always so any more.
If I am coming to a red light, and one is coming from a side street turning towards me, I know to stop way back from the stoplight to give them room to turn...a lot of people never even think about that.
I do take the occasional picture from behind the wheel, when stopped of course.
I would probably take a photo and post it to facebook because I've had two run ins with semi-trucks, literally, and this photo makes me think he is looking for trouble. I have semi-phobia! Be careful out there...
Louis Dean claims I take more pictures than anyone! I just smile because I know it's not true! YOU DO! And we love them all!
I would take pics at a red light. :) and I'm a people watcher. :)
If I am at a stop I would most likely take a picture of something that I thought was interesting.
#1: Yes. I have done this. I have snapped out my window on the fly without looking, too. #2: Any combination of the answers. #3: That would depend if I was on my way to an appointment, and how much time I had to get there.
