Continued from Prior Post Patriot Guard Riders
As the Patriot Guards roared off the street, Channel 7 News was there to record, I recorded him recording them...The day was very cold, but everyone that had signed up to ride put on hats and gloves and coats and some wore blankets.. The camera man placed a microphone on one of the veterans because he would be riding on the first bike, and he could interview him while riding. It was all to cool for words.
From wheel chairs to motorcycles, they all waited to RIDE...
Some chose the side car, others rode astride.. and they made a parade with the camera man hanging out the back of the suv recording for the evening news. I wish I could share the faces of joy in the photos I have of that day. Due to privacy issues, I can not. They would make you smile, just like the riders smiled that day.

Awesome! I don't know why, but I especially like the last photo! Must be the tree shadows on the ground. I love how you captured the camera man!! Now, have you changed the layout and looks of your blog? I usually don't notice such things because I am so focused on the post itself. But several things look different.
such fun! I would love to ride in a sidecar one day... I've always wanted to since I was probably 4 or 5 years old! hope you are having a happy weekend!
Awwwwww, this is one awesome post Sandra!! The thrill for these riders I imagine, was just priceless.
Oh, and I read your previous post --- that kinda night sounds like the ones I have all too often!
Too awesome for words, Sandra. You captured each and every moment so well. Even the cameraman who was doing his own capturing!
I can imagine the thrill. The open road, the wind in your face and the feeling of freedom.
I LOVE your new puntastic header. I read that first and got a good giggle out of it
This was great! Love the smiles
There are so many disturbing happenings going on right now (even in your State which I always think of as the Sunny State) that I've enjoyed seeing your posts about the Patriot Guard Riders. Great action photos recording their visit. I like the one in the collage of the rider with the cuddly toy (a panda or teddy). These bikers are gentle folk doing a good service.
Hello, Sandra! Great capture of the event. It is a shame you can not share their happy faces. Happy weekend to you!
Oh I love this post. Interesting to see the camera man hanging out the back window of the SUV. I hope they get hazard pay. LOL
I've love to ride in a side car!

I went to a burial here with The Patriot Guard rode in the procession...they are heroes themselves. It is so patriotic to see them. I like the last pic also like Ginny said.
Looks like they had a fun time riding.
