My photos of the Wolfe/Tipton family friends on the 30th Annual Cracker Trail Ride off to Fort Pierce, a 7 day ride.
UPDATE since comments mentioned sore muscles. The crackers were doing this as their Grand Entrance into Fort Pierce, they don't crack the whips all the time.. just when parade or a show
I took 7 days for them to reach Fort Pierce, in the video you can see why it is called the Cracker Trail

Goodness, ALL these horses are gorgeous! Do they crack those whips the whole way? They would get a sore shoulder. And the horses do not even flinch! They must be rained to be used to it.
Hello Sandra!:) Thank you for your much appreciated visits. With spending so much of my time indoors unable to cope most days, it's a welcome change to feel well enough to visit my blogger friends today. I have missed your cheerful posts, and find this a cracker of a post, he he!! This is an event I have never heard of before, and a most spectacular show, which I would love to see in real time. All those beautiful horses are really well trained. I am thinking the same as Ginny though, about sore muscles after the ride. Great video!:)
All I can say is...wow. Agreed with the two above, those shoulders MUST ache eventually.
How much fun it must be to take part in such an event.
Your photos are just spectacular.
Fantastic horses! Love your photos Sandra.
Hello Sandra, Horses are like birds to me. I love them all. Beautiful horses and photos. The whip sounds are neat. What a great show!
Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day.
Oh this gave me goosebumps when I watched the video...LOVE IT!!!!...:)JP
D'Jango is gorgeous! He is almost colored like a chocolate tip Siamese...
I've heard there are tons of ranches in Florida. Always surprises me too.
Are they scattered about the state or in one concentrated area?
hugs Cecilia
I love horses. I agree with Madi and Mom regarding D'Jango, I was thinking he favored our Fox in color. :) great post Sandra.
What great posture ... both Wolfe and D'Jango!
That looks like Cookie being hooked up to Tipton's wagon. I hope the horses get along with one another, ya know?
It looks like Robert is watching you in that second photo!
Love all this. Good looking horses, cowboy looking cowboys, and a great looking house in the background.
D'Jango is sure a pretty horse!
That first horse reminds me of one my cousin used to have
Love the video. Those horses are well trained not to be phased by those whips cracking!
Wow..that is some professional whip cracking!! Very cool video!
Great photos on these two posts! Love the horses. Aren't they gorgeous! That sure looks like fun.
Those babies are so PRETTY. Love it.
I really enjoyed this post and I'm glad I looked for it! Inger made a comment on my blog about you talking about a Cracker festival and I rushed over. I went to one last weekend. Love our Florida fun! Hugs, Diane
