The Zap was a Snap

I sat in the corner by the lamp staring at the seats across from me, waiting for my right eye to be Zapped!
My phone jumped into my hand and Snapped! Three Times

I snapped the clock and the time, next to me. I am always early. My appt. was 12:35... Five were scheduled  at the same time and the paperwork lady said, today we are calling patients by first come first served. YOU will be called first.

The Zap was a Snap! and my vison is Clear. Once again I can watch TV without glasses. The Zap took less than 60 seconds, I counted 6 loud clicks as he tapped with the laser and done. Think cleaning the lens with invisible Windex... also think Blinding Blue/Red/White sparkling lights.

To pass the time while I waited, I walked in front of this clock...

I like seeing where you were. And it sounds like the very best kind of procedure to have. I ADORE your gorgeous header. What a beautiful surprise to see. The red is just a bit dark, mysterious, and moody. So it really adds intrigue, without hitting you over the head. One of your very best. Maybe in my top five or ten of your headers.

So very happy that this procedure went well. I know you are glad to have it behind you. Hope you have an enjoyable day.

That's my kind of doctors appointment, getting in first and everything going quick. If they schedule 5 for the same time I can't imagine the doctor spends much time with each patient.

Your blessed to watch T.V without glasses. My hubby is the same as you and he also can do crossword puzzles not wearing glasses. He to be honest does not wear his glasses.

Not I.

My new glasses is my God sent. Expensive but what can I do. Better then being blind. I also have to have drops.

I suppose all my life.

Glad to read that all went well, Sandra. Being able to see clearly is indeed a wonderful thing, especially as you have to much to see and share with us, my blogger friend.

YAY, Sandra! That's swell that the staff chose She Who arrived first.
I'm impressed, how pretty the waiting room ... but, so empty???? Each time Tom goes for a procedure or check-up the waiting area is packed!

Wow. I can't remember ever being able to watch TV without glasses... Well, I suppose I may have been for maybe 4 years, but back then there wasn't really much to watch! (I got my first pair of glasses when I was 9 or 10, and we didn't have a TV until I was 5 or 6, and back then only one channel, and hardly any children's programmes...)

You walked in front of the clock. Very funny, Sandra. (or as Fred would have said, 'Very droll, Wilma, very droll.') LOL Anyway, that is just INCREDIBLE that they can do that to you eyes! I wonder how long before they'll be able to have us drink something like Scrubbing Bubbles that will clean the plaques from the neurons in our brains. Very soon, I hope!
