The elementary school cook prided herself on the healthy meals she provided with lots of vegetables and fruits. .
When the power failed one day, the cook couldn't serve a hot meal in the cafeteria, so at the last minute she whipped up great stacks of peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches.
As one little boy filled his plate, he said, "It's about time. At last, a home-cooked meal!"

That first joke is hilarious!!! I love it! I love the flowers too. Several are foxgloves. Your shots are amazing for a phone. Phil & I are still laughing at the joke.
That little boys mother isn't much of a cook...lol
Those flowers are pretty. I was going to ask if these were flowers for sale or planted outside of Walmart but I figured it out from the pictures. They aren't out yet here, still too cold.
Lovely photos, you should take a look at Instagram as a place to share phone photos.

Hahaha. Not so far from the truth these days. What are the flowers?
That's too funny! Guess mama wasn't much of a cook. haha! The flowers are beautiful, especially that first one. I think the others are foxgloves.
Hmm, a revealing remark by the little guy.
Great flower photos.
Beautiful photos! The tree with the butterflies I posted was in the walmart parking lot! When I cook green beans, my granddaughter says, "No thanks, I only like school green beans!" Our 75 year old friend works in her school cafeteria and the kids love her.
Beautiful flowers :)
