While photographing what the drought has done to our backyard jungle, I noticed movement on the fence up front. Using Zoom I snapped four photos.
See below what the camera saw from a far, above is what Lunapic did when MS the lunatic took them for a spin....the above were made from the two large panels in below collage created in PicMonkey. It amazed me the detail that came from these not so good photos.

Very fun edits, Sandra. The details are amazing.
I hope you have a nice May 1!
I like these a lot. Cardinals are one of my favorites.
I looooooooooooooooooooooove this MS. Bravo Bravo it would make a very pretty framed photo too. I love the capture of the male in mid air!!
MOLMOL you and mom had birds on the brain today
Hugs madi your bfff
Fun edits! I love cardinals.
These are glorious! Love on a fence. Did you notice the one cardinal on the right? Her upper beak is way overgrown!! When they get that way it is too hard to eat. Wonder how that happened?? In captivity, they are filed down with a Dremel. But I have never seen a wild bird who can forage with an overgrown beak!
Ha HA!! You and me were both thinking along the same lines on Anni's helmet post!
The Mexican Cartel was a new thought to me, so I was one step behind you. I was still on Rod Serling. But yours could actually happen. Now everything bad I see will be their fault...
I love the effect you used on the first two pics. I love red birds, but then again I love watching all birds. Thanks for sharing.
Very, very artsy! I like your work with Lunapic.
Always enjoy those effects you use on your photos.
These are amazing...I love both of them!
I once heard that one famous photographer...that it was the guy that developed the film that had the real talent! I would never have guessed that these would have resulted from those!
I love these photos Sandra! We were supposed to have an 80% chance of thunderstorms today and nothing. Not a drop.
Fun hots and that splash of color must be wonderful in among the dry conditions.
Lunapic v. lunatic? You had me doing a double-take there, MS!
The original images remind me of winter for some reason. Nevertheless, I always enjoy seeing Cardinals!
That is impressive!
Hi Sandra, love the effect you used on the cardinal photos! Looks wonderful.

love love love the male in the air! all the photos are fantastic and love the edits. :)
The cardinal is the state bird of VA and we used to see many in our yard and at the feeders, Sandra. But I haven't seen as many here in NH, so it was great tonsee your photos. The edits turned out better than the originals.
Cool! I love how you play!! Love the edited photos and Mr. Red Bird hanging in the air!
I love them, makes them extremely interesting with the colors, especially on the fence.
