Picture It...#1

My very first ghost photo, 2002 combining 2 photos.
Picture This... a 1997 Computer, Windows 95 operating system. My very first home computer. No Interenet. I used it like a word processor, for typing up the Sunday School lessons I taught.

This sail boat was way out in the gulf, I used my zoom to take a photo, and added it to a water view
2002, I purchase my first digital Kodak Easy Share, 3 MP camera and a CD called Picture it. My life changed forever. These two photos were created using Picture It and merging two photos into one. I called them Ghost Pictures. Now I use Photoshop or PicMonkey to merge and it is much easier.

2017 edit using Lunapic

They are gorgeous. You have a talent for this that you were born with. It doesn't matter what kind of equipment you have, because it is in your head. You can make something beautiful out of anything.

Hello, Sandra! I agree with Ginny you have a talent for these edits. I love all these images. The first is just beautiful. I love the sailboat too. Luna pic could be addicting. Have a happy day!

Thanks, Sandra, for this look backpost letting us know how far back your "addiction" began...luckily for us who enjoy your creations.

I use the same camera now you talk about and the program back then picture It.

Now I have another camera which is bigger and I find the weight more uncomfortable to carry. So Nine out of 10 times. I take my camera you had. The Kodak . It fits in my purse better .

I ejoy your two pictures you did.

When I comment on your page. The only way I can comment
is hit your little envelope near comments.

Then it wont let me comment. So I go out. Then the comment page comes up. And I can comment. I liked your picture the other day of Bob snoozing with the dog. I am so happy he is doing well and I liked what the Doc had said about why he is healthy for all those years he was active. That is what they said about me for a 75 year old from my surgeon. Yet I am still slowly healing. I was on fire like Bob at first but I am told the learning to walk outside now with uneven cane . Takes time. I walk inside without a cane but outside to the lake is not easy. I have to dodge between tourists. Oh well time Sept comes we are back to normal with our own people in town. I agree with your followers. Your a smart lady doing all kinds of artsy work with all the gadgets you use. Thumbs up.

Wow, you were doing this back in 2002. I've never combined two photos.

Impressive computer and photo tech history. Back then we began having laptops and I was very busily involved with my young girls and their need for technology. I volunteered at a school to help them create a computer lab. I stared with an Apple E2 computerin the late 80's and then hubby needed to learn so a 486 came into my life with dos. I was ever so glad when the first Windows came along, 3.1. It was a bit more like the intuitive Apple I had stared with. I gave up MS after Vista came out and stuck to Apple for it had made a great comeback. Office 10 at hubby's office is not my thing. In fact he has help from a student that he is training in C.A. Skills. Hubby is finding every tech too challenging now. He has no interest in his iPhone/s abilities as his memory makes even simple tasks hard now.

I love your term of ghost photos and how you created them.

Oh, remember Windows 95. I also used my desktop as a Word Processor. I love being connected as we are these days. Your boat on the water is so restful. I like the earlier one a lot but always LOVE Lunapic. You are good, Sandra, oh so good!

Truly beautiful edits. I can think of several photos it would be fun to do something similar with.

These are wonderful. They were nice enough when you first did them and your 2107 version is amazing. I can't recall when I first started editing pictures and I have no idea what I used before PSE

These are wonderful. I think back and Roger wanted me to get a digital camera before I was ready...in fact he got one for me but our computer at that time did not meet the requirements. Luckily, I did not open the camera till I read and I could return it.

My brother and I talk often about how we would have loved digital cameras when we were young.

All are beautiful images, but the first "Ghost Fisherman" speaks right to my heart.

Given the time difference, you must be asleep by now. (I'm just out of the dentist chair and not far behind!)
