Ringling Enchanted Magic Forest

The enchanted forest has all the statues dedicated to the little people that worked in the circus. To see photos of them click HERE they were an important part of the circus and in the beginning years it was employment for many of them that could not find it elsewhere.

Wow, those trees! And the cement chair by them. I guess they were one of the few places to employ little people, but sad that it was probably for people to stare at them a make remarks.

Your pictures are especially beautiful with the dappled sunlight thru the trees.

Hello, I love the statues and the enchanted forest. The shadows are awesome. It is nice that the little people have a space dedicated to them. Can you imagine working and traveling for the circus. Enjoy your day!

Did you see that in the movies - in December - they are going to have a movie about The Greatest Show On Earth and it talks about irregular people and becoming a family!

The light and shadow certainly makes the place seem magical. Those trees must be old or fast growing and the stone statues show the personalities and emotions of the different circus folk very well. Thank you for the link about them.

Well that is neat! Thanks for your wonderful comments about my talents and my projects. I love doing...and doing....and doing....hence the reason my craftroom moved out to hall and why I am trying to cut back on bringing things in the house.

That's such a touching gesture to memorialize the 'little' ones! I wouldn't be surprised if the Ringl
ing's didn't sincerely care about their associates.
Apologies if I've mentioned it before, but years ago my uncle was made an honorary member/minister to Sarasota's 'Show Folks' ... and cared for them like his own family. My mom went along to one of their luncheons and couldn't get over their friendliness and camaraderie.

Those trees are stunning! They do look like circus workers. I do have compassion for them, good they found jobs.
