He looks so healthy and in such good shape, thanks to both of you. I love these artful pictures, and his sharp clear shadow. Is it cataracts? For dogs, I think it would be even worse to loose their sense of smell.
It is sad to see our pets grow old, blind and deaf. I remember......

Oh what a handsome boy! I am sorry his eyes are going bad..I wish there was something the vet could do, but there is nothing for aging, I know. I read your other post- so glad you got your washer and you will probably have to hold that man's toes to the fire to make sure you get credited for that first washer, but I know you can do it!
He looks good to be so pitiful wanting out! It is heartbreaking to see them aging

Lovely photos of your Jake, He's a handsome boy, but growing old like the rest of us. Our 7 year old Mel has cataracts, but has always had weak eyesight. Our vet tells us that even if she eventually loses her sight, most dogs adapt well with their own memory map, and they also find their way by smell, which gave me some comfort, but it's hard to see our pets growing old with health problems.
He's a beautiful part of your family.

Funny....Dakota can lay here all day and don't go out that much but at night when I go to bed he wants to go out one of two times a night.....and stay out for 15 mins or so.....wears me out.
