Loitering - stand or wait around idly, or without apparent purpose.... the view while folding, a busy street, the traffic is a short 10 feet from the folding table. If you don't like the view, there is a print of a sea view out a an open window..
IF you were loitering with me, would it be in a laundromat, washateria, coin laundry or self service laundry? My grandmother never owned a washer dryer. She used a coin laundry, even in the 50's. It was an out door coin laundry here in Florida.

Remove the glass, it was open to the air. Only In Florida and Only 10 blocks from her home. I thought it was amazing.. I loved her home in Palmetto, Florida and I love to Drive to the cute open air coin laundry in her 49 ford

Can you imagine loitering without your camera - bo-rrr-ing.
And ♫ thanks for the memories ♫ and my Dad's 1950 black Ford.
I will tell you your laundromat is about 100% pretty and cleaner than the last one I was in 10 years ago and the views amazing. I love the story about your grandma

Oh, this was the best post yet from the laundry place!!! YAM xx
You are so funny. I am not hanging out there, or one like that, I am vegging on my couch with Dakota covered up right next to me and Lily is wandering the house, wanting to go on the deck but its 37 right now so I am not letting her out. I however am looking at a basket of clothes that need to go upstairs, is that close to hanging out with you? haha
Hi Sandra, what a fresh, clean post. LOL! I started using the laundromat four doors down from my shop on the veranda. I took my washing/laundry to Val's Valley Laundry every Tuesday. The washing is weighed dry, washed and dried and then folded. To save money I didn't have it ironed. But after two months, I've reverted to washing over the bathtub at home again! Good exercise and better on the pocket!
Have a great day in that beautiful state of yours. Jo xx
We see the fun in everything here, don't we? I loved the photo of you and your new refrigerator too but missed commenting. I'm getting a new microwave this week....I may need to take some Vanna pics! heehee! We had a little rain overnight and it sure looks beautiful this morning! Hugs!
I can't remember the last time I went to a laundromat. I remember my grandmother using a wringer washing machine in our basement.
Sunny days truly make everything better!!
Our hop:

What a fun post and fine place
Your camera is like the iphone to kids - love it.
So they took the windows off the laundry mat? I never knew that - that is wonderfully amazing.

I KNOW you love this pretty decorative grass. Here, they are called Laundromats. This one looks very nice, with all the accessories. I can't even imagine the outdoor one. Are there still any there?
Wow, I love that sunshine year around too. Here we have sunshine most months except for part of February and November, but then again you know the other side of our weather. We won't go into that again. I LOVE that photo of the outdoors through the open window. I must get a large photo/poster like that for the downstairs kitchen. The sink is not on a window wall and that would be perfect there! I especially liked the Live and Let Dry. LOL Have a great Wednesday! I'll see if I can get a photo of the reading nook in my library. It's always messy, full of blankets and pillows. :-)
Your sunshine and warmth looks very attractive! The views from the laundromat are nice with the greenery peeking in from the sides. You definitely are not all washed up - go back to the laundromat!
I'd be lost in a laundromat too. I haven't been in one since about the same year as you!
I need sunshine year round. Instead I look out my window and see that it's snowing again. I have never heard of an outdoor coin laundry.
Girl, I love alliteration! ...and these olden images make me smile.
I'd totally forgotten those outdoor laundromats. Only in Florida!
I'm sure glad that you're cleaning up your act! (JK)
While I've lived most of my life in flats with shared laundry rooms in the basement, I have only very rarely visited a public laundry service. Only a few times back in the 1970s. Not sure I've ever seen any such place since the early 1980s.
Sunshine all year round sounds pretty good right now!
