Can you say BIG DOGS?

My friend Mabel came out to my car as I pulled in her driveway for the first time, and said you like dogs right? Right I say... She says Do you like Big Dogs?   Of Course I answered.

When we stepped in the house I said these are not BIG dogs they are Cows, they are even painted like Cows.  She handed me a dish towel as I sat down and I found out Why.... the king of DROOLS had his head under my arm pit...
I wanted her to take a photo of me with both dogs to show their size, and Gus sat on my lap. I was laughing so hard and managed to get out the words, I can't get up, someone get Gus... Jean butted him like you do a horse that stands on your foot.... A fun visit...

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my Word they are gorgeous...are the St. Bernard's or a mixture. LOL on the dishtowel. Years ago we had a graduate student working in the Physics department. She kept talking about her St. Bernies she had. Finally her husband brought them with him when he came to pick her up.
The were in the cargo and back seat of their Explorer. Each took up the entire space in both areas and the windows were covered in slobber art. You could not even see into the car.
So sweet love this post

HaHa, I love Madi and Mom's comment about "Slobber Art".
Now that's what I call Big Dogs...
Love your laughing and needing help getting up.

You handled the slobber with grace - I don't know if I could have done that - but they were just big cutie pies. sandie

I did not like that your head is cut off. But then you made up for it with the super picture of you laughing with the dogs! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture SO much! I am saving it, it is pure joy. No worries or cares, just joy and love. What a fun post to read! Are they St. Bernards? They don't look entirely like that, maybe only partly. You are SKINNY!! I am on my way, lost 15 pounds from the surgery! Before I went in the hospital, I was wondering how much the removed part of my colon would weigh!!

What a fun experience that had to have been! Love the picture of you laughing … from what I can see of his mouth, it looks like Gus is smiling, too.
That was really thoughtful of your friend to come out and make sure you were comfortable with the dogs. (I don't understand anyone who isn't, but I'm sure they're out there.)
