My World-through the windshield

About to back out of my parking space at the church where TOPS meets, the view through my windshield at 10:30 am, called to me.

I have heard we should look at life through the windshield and not the rear view mirror. But here the view is as stunning in the rear view as the windshield.

No matter the time of day, the beauty through my windshield sometimes makes it hard to drive. Above is 6:30 am as I parked to shop in Walmart.
And yesterday I had to stop in the middle of the road for a STORK, he was in  my lane, standing there and wandered slowly out of the to join six other Storks in the median. NO PICS but this prior post will show you our storks here in Paradise ….click HERE

Hello, beautiful sky captures. I am glad the storks crossed the road safely.
Enjoy your day, happy July!

What beautiful skies.

One of the advantages of walking is that it's easier to stop and stare (and take photographs...) :) (but on the other hand - a car takes you further away to see more views...)

So many people only see what is in front of them and not all around, Sandra. Thanks for reminding us that beauty is everywhere.

What a beautiful day there! We see cranes sometimes out in the countryside.

Pretty views. I frequently have to remind myself to pay attention to the road instead of gawking at all the amazing view I see.
I can honestly say that I have never had to stop for a storm in the road

I can relate. Sometimes all I can do is try to capture the scene in my mind's camera.

Very nice. I was on a kick when we were driving to Montana last year and I was taking photos through the side window with the view in the side mirror. I really like them! I remember thinking I was going to do a cocktail table book with them.
