Tickseed AGAIN Flower Friday

Once again,  I am Tickled with Tickseed....  Joining LLB Backyard for Flower Friday

they are gone now, only one or two left. Wildflowers are Wonderful but only for a short time.   The Butterflies are sad, they loved my pot of flowers.  I am happy to report The Bees Are Back and our Bee Tree is HUMMING again.

Tickseed is not a pretty enough name for these flowers. They look painted. See the feathery brushstrokes on the edges of the brown?

The wildflowers are beautiful but they never last long enough! No flowers to speak of on the ranch....

Flowers never last long enough. It seems like the prettier they are they faster they die. At least by taking their picture we can keep them around for a long time. I do love the colors of these but I'm with Ginny Ticksee is not a pretty enough name.
I didn't even think about it being Friday the 13th until I read it here. Now I'm doomed...lol

I only know them as Coreopsis; the all-yellow variety peppers the roadsides in Australia (though I don't think it is a native). They are beautiful!!! YAM xx

Sad to see them go so quickly. I felt that way about the honeysuckle here. It smelled so sweet. But the crepe myrtles are in full bloom now, and the rose of sharon.

We've enjoyed the tickweed too and you did a great job planting and displaying them for Hugs madi and Mom

Now I'm channeling the late-great Jim Croce: "If I could save time in a bottle …"
Forget the bottle, you do a great job of saving these wildflowers' lives through your photos!

For some reason the number '13' has never bothered me.

Hello, your flowers are beautiful. Very cheery! the Friday 13th date does not really bother me. I hope your day is great.

They are so pretty. It would be wonderful if you could have those year round.
