Lunapic Lunatic 1001

this post started with Opening Lunapic to PLAY.... when I uploaded the photo below, I noticed a NEW thing that said I could upload from Google Photos, which is where my cell and tablet photos auto post.
The first photo that came up was the one above, and there you have it.
I think I look thinner in sketch...and Jake looks younger.

NOTE:   A critter of Some Sort came to visit in the night and ate every single flower, only the flower. the stems are there, chomped into oblivion....Do Locust eat flowers? something did...totally decapitated every single flower.

Todays question...… What comes to your mind when I say cabbage? MY answer below the next photo. think of your answer before you read mine.

my first thought was sauerkraut.. second was Daddy who always grew a row of cabbage for mother to make slaw and sauerkraut...

Great looking pictures. Too bad about the flowers. I wonder who the culprit is.
The first thing I think of when I hear the word cabbage is stuffed cabbage.

Hello, I think you and Jake look great! Sorry your flowers were eaten, the deer, bunnies and groundhogs eat the flowers here. Enjoy your day!

I LOVE cabbage - raw as slaw or sauteed with lots of butter and ground black pepper or made into tschii (Russian cabbage soup)... any of the brassicas are a fave food of mine!

I also love your picture renditions today!!! YAM xx

Cabbage = the RG and his Polish family.
Here in Western P.A. I would suspect the while-tailed deer. But in you neck of the woods I'm thinking something smaller (and hungry).

Like the effects on these. It's fun to play. I have just discovered local tone mapping for my photos in paint shop pro. Raccoon??? Rabbit??? Cabbage? Stir-fries or just plain steamed with a little butter. Love cabbage!

Here's the deal. I never liked this particular art edit in Lumapic. Never used it, didn't like it. But YOU...make it look GLORIOUS!!! And that is the difference between us. I struggle with those art edits because I cannot see what looks good and what doesn't. Usually can't decide what to use, and don't like the look of any I use. I just have no artistic ability at all. But you are a true artist and have no trouble at all with it. The picture is amazing and happy. It looks like an artist sketched it with charcoal. And how on earth did you get this shot anyway? With Jake right in front of the camera! Cabbage...I think of those gorgeous decorative heads of cabbage in all colors that will be coming out this fall. I go snap crazy over them. Have a whole folder full.

I think raccoons. They have dainty little fingers that would do this, and the buds are more tasty than the rest. Plus you know you have them.

Well, aren't you the Skinny Minnie......
You look terrific Sandra. Keep it up.
Cabbage? Cabbage Heads, Cabbage Patch dolls, Cole Slaw (love it)
So sorry about your lovely flowers. Some critter had quite a tasty meal.
Do raccoons eat flowers?

By the way I can't read your answer below the final picture. I can sort of tell there are some sentences there but can't read it.

You look fabulous!! I also love the Moss roses. Years ago I would have said sauerkraut but since I love to saute cabbage now I think of that.

Yes, you're shrinking before our very eyes! (Sweet Jake looks like he's grinning.)

I'd don't recall ever consuming them, but the word 'cabbage' invokes a memory of building cabbage rolls every New Years Eve. My former hubby always insisted on holding an open house on January 1, so there were probably a dozen pans needing baked. Just once, I longed to go out and celebrate like normal people. LOL!

I love seeing your Lunapic creation! I think of corned beef and cabbage...and lots of butter on the cabbage!
