I can testify to this fact!
If you leave your charger plugged into the wall, and the other end plugged in like this IT WILL NOT CHARGE.... I went to bed with it charging, it was 43 percent, I got up and it was still 43 percent. Please Be Advised, do not plug your cell in the charger in the dark...
ALSO the very next night, I forgot and left my kindle paperwhite reader plugged in all night. I got up and said to Bob, I told you to remind me my kindle was charging, blah blah blah I hope it did not ruin the battery, you know it is more than 2 years old, yada yada blah blah…
today I picked up the kindle and it was not charged, still exactly what it was when I plugged it in. It Seems I plugged the end like the one above into the kindle, but the plug I pushed into the wall was the other charger. That Did Not Work Either....

Oh my gosh. We have so many things to charge now! We have a vacuum, 2 phones, 2 tablets, a razor, camera, and so on. I think that nowadays it is alright to leave them plugged in all night, but it didn't used to be in the past.
Oh my goodness sounds like something I would do. I have to say this made me laugh!!

I've plugged my phone in at night and the next morning it was still exactly where it had been. I know I had it plugged in right though.
Also when I use the charger that came with my tablet it tells me that it's charging slow and to use the Samsung charger. So I unplug the Samsung charger and plug in the LG charger and then it happily charges my tablet.

Yep... I resemble that! I'm hoping and praying my Amazon Fire (battery) can hang on until my birthday in March. Seems I missed the memo about not leaving it charging all night, every night. Sigh....

OMword this tickled me and made me lol...been there and done it but with my chargeable Water Pik...yep you got plug them into the wall manually they don't plug in automatically.

Been there and don e the same thing, Sandra, and wondered the same thing you did...WHY? wasn't the tablet/Kindle charged overnight. Also happens with my cell phone!

LOL are you sure we are not twins? I learned that the can opener does not turn on the toaster oven among other electrical items refusing to do what I want. lol. Hang in there you will get everything charged eventually sweet Sandra. Hugs
