What a treat today! The little weed is fascinating. It is so symmetrical. Double WOW WOW on the caterpillar and butterfly!!! And I can see that they both have the same colors. The caterpillar looks very frightening. Which I guess it has to, in order to avoid being eaten. Wonder if it is poisonous. It is so cool to see both him and what he turns into!! I've heard of air plants, but not air moss. Banyan Trees! I have never seen one. They remind me of the strangler figs I have seen on nature shows. You put these in perfect order.

Loving it all. So many wonderful treats. That caterpillar to butterfly is pretty fascinating.
I have to laugh at the air moss though. They sell that here in the stores and you've got it hanging on power lines.

I've been enlightened. I did not know Spanish moss (and others) were 'air' plants. Fascinating.

Besides YOU and a few friends, the one thing I miss about Florida are the Banyan trees. Have you seen the one at Thomas Edison's home in Ft. Myers?
That air moss shot is so cool. I love your eye for finding beauty everywhere!

Air moss and air plants just amaze me!!
I guess all the moisture you have in your air helps them too.
I'm struck by the laziness of people. The amount of trash we seem when we walk at the mall, in the parking lots and just mere inches from trash cans.
Banyan tree is quite interesting.

Sandra, it's delightful seeing how you take notice of the beauty in the mundane of life.
Great captures of air moss and stumps.
I just love how your mind operates.

oh MY! What wonderful glimpes at nature today...the caterpillar is amazing!!

PeeEss..Jakey wanted me to let you know he did NOT get to go off leash on his forest walk. I used a program called Touch/Retouch that quickly erased the leash. Kind of like photoshop, but without so much hassle :-)
