Oh my goodness! And it is in it's own self contained bowl even. He looks like he is fiercely protecting it. I LOVE it!! I like watching squirrels eat and how they use their little hands.

This makes my heart happy, Sandra! Aside from a fawn, I think squirrels are the sweetest little forest creatures. Cracks me up how they tease Macie and Grace.

Nice photos Sandra! I try not to encourage the squirrels in my yard because I have too many as it is.

A true squirrel feast. All squirrels further north would be so jealous, chewing on their stashed acorns in the snow.

I read previous comments that the sauirrel might be enjoying an avocado or was it a tree pear, Sandra? Either way that squirrel was enjoying the treat.
