Replaced Modem (said was on recall) and DVR (said was 7 years old, time to replace)
We lost ALL pre-recorded shows
AND all to be recorded in future.
He was here and hour and a half

Oh dear do I hear you on losing everything. Same thing happened to us in the Spring when I 9 y.o. tv went kaput. Cable guy came to check yep it was kaput plugged in our itty bitty kitty tv to the box. We watched all the shows new DVR hooked up and then the task of resetting future shows.
UGH but I will tell your the new DVR made a huge difference. Things were running so slow.

Cute butt … but that doesn't make up for his attitude. Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. Would you believe, Tom and I've never recorded anything on our DVR?
Oh my gosh - I am so sorry that you have lost everything. Man that would be tough. We are having cable woes too - $200 a month too!
Every once in awhile I take a photo of my DVR settings. What a pain in the butt having to reset them and of course in the summer you can't reset most of your fall programs. Gosh our DVR's are over 12 years old.
