. Our Jungle Back Yard is Back. We had no flowers, now we have many.... Gods Life Giving Rain...….Via two weeks of violent thunderstorm, we have another week coming. Poor Big Boy is not fond of the storms. Neither am I, but our drought is broken. Thank You Lord.
Trying to imagine Ansel Adams World, before we had color film and now Digital everything.

2 weeks ago the fence behind all the green was just an ugly old fence. |

Yes, sometimes the rain can seem too much, but we must never forget how life depends upon it! YAM xx
The first photo is a beautiful macro capture.
Oh...lucky you! Once, we were UNDER water, now...WE ARE IN A DROUGHT! It's always good to see green again!
You surely needed the rain...however, I'm with you...not so much audio with it.
Hugs Cecilia
I am so glad that the drought is broken!!!
Going to have to come back on regular computer...
Hello,
YAY for the rain, jungle and flowers. I am glad the drought is over.
Sandra - we must have very similar weather patterns. I am so thankful for rain. We are supposed to have another big one Tuesday. Your yard is pretty.
WOW, he is well hidden. It's a wonder you didn't need a machete to get in there.
I'm so glad the drought is finally over..
You and Florida all need beautiful flowers in your lives.
Love the photo of Big in the cool little shady hole.
I'm grateful for the Delta breeze today. It makes the 90+F. tolerable.
Love the orange bouganvilla.
You truly do. have a jungle out there. Praise God for sending the rain.
I wish I might send you some of OUR rain. At least, the mosquitos.
Not sure which of these photos I like best. The first (color) is like my second favorite hue; but there's always 'something' about black and white. Good thing I don't have to choose and can just come here to satisfy my eyes!
I got a scare awhile ago....you can see a little slit under the trailer by the steps when you come in. I've been going in and out cooking and I glanced through the slit and saw a white critter. I was afraid it was a dead cat. Nope! One of the Great Pyrenees was cooling off under there....
Hooray for rain and the return of the jungle.
I always enjoy your "jungle" reports. And this one had the added fun of clicking over to the canine reporter describing strategies for surviving hot weather.
Wow, it's amazing what a little rain can do! I do love Ansel Adams black and white photos.
It got up to over 100 degrees today. I would have loved jumping into your pool.
