What, Where, Why?

 What is this?

Now can you tell what it is?

It is on the side of the fridge with my timers. Can you guess why?

For 30 years, Our coffee cups have lived on a platter beside the coffee pot. To catch the spills for easy cleanup.

Each morning Bob removes his cup and places over by the stove, because the light is on. He does this because he can't see the sugar going in his cup or the coffee when it gets to the top. It is to DARK on the platter.
Nevermind, he doesn't need glasses, or so he says, I can see the cups fine. AnyHOO..
Yes, we do have an overhead light. No he will not turn it on.

I looked for the little touch me stick up lights to put above the cups, under the counter for him to TOUCH, and leave the cup where it belongs.
Thus having sugar/coffee spills only in the spill platter.
$9.97 was the price, right next to it were these little hanging lights, $2.47 each. Magnet or hanger, my choice.
One for the fridge
One for the water heater, next to the washer in order for me to see the 87 buttons on the dashboard.
Two Lights for half the cost of ONE..

I just could not figure out what it is. First I thought a big florescent light over your stove or sink. Then no, then yes...I like it, where did you get it? If it is that cheap, I want one.

I was thinking on the lines of a Yeti (water bottles for walking/exercise)...couldn't have been further from the truth.

Bud is just the opposite. He turns on every light switch he is near.

Hello,

The little touch lights are cute. I have to go behind my hubby and wipe, he does not always see what he spills. I would have never guessed what it was.
Enjoy your day!

I should have known what that was because I have one just like it except mine is a longer.
So does Bob now leave the cup on the tray to fill it or does he still move it?

MEN! Just like us ladies have their own way of doing things, problem is, its not our way! haha

How long has Bob been relocating the mug for filling? Old dog; new tricks and all that haha,
The hanging lights are often give aways at conventions and banquets. We have several and love them.
When the local Rural King opened they gave away ones that look like light switches. I hung one higher above the normal switch in a bedroom and have one in my nightstand drawer. They are great in closets too.

Our coffee maker lives on a narrow space between the refrigerator and stove-top -- where I've been putting down an old placemat to catch Tom's sugar/creamer spills. Rather than keep laundering it, I'm going to substitute your idea … thanks!
I'm guessing Wal-Mart? We could sure use some light where Tom sits at the breakfast bar. I'm going to look on our next trip!

I have that 3rd one from WalMart. Now, when I go back - I will have to get a few more - you are giving me some great ideas. THANKS.

That's a great idea. No doubt he could use some reading glasses. I tell Mark to wear his when he's doing stuff in the kitchen. I come into the kitchen in the morning and see all kinds of things on the counters that he doesn't see!

Hubby...can't live with them sometimes but definitely can't live without them...
Mine is pretty good about cleaning up after himself but different strokes..etc.
Love the idea of the touch lights.

You are the best crazy people I know! And am I right in that you only have TWO cups in your cupboard? Tell you you have extras just in case I drop in for coffee one morning! And you know I’m teasing because your coffee time is long past by the time I get up!
