Village of the Arts -Red House

I attended a funeral in the oldest funeral home in Bradenton, which is in the Village of The Arts, one of our oldest neighborhoods. As I drove out the back drive, I nearly shouted with Glee. I had remembered to put the camera in the car.

This house was built in the 1920's as was my Grandmothers house a few miles away... I felt Instant Love. Tin roof, old trees, bright sun, Shadows and a PORCH... It is under construction, remodeling to former glory.

Above  is the photo. Can you find the edit changes I made to the photo below.  What is missing?

ANSWER... I removed the construction sign on the porch wall and all the construction stickers from the windows. They bothered my OCD self. A LOT.... I want this house or one just like it....
As I drove through, I did a few shots through my side window.. to be continue

Yep, I noticed that you took the construction stickers out. They would have bothered me too. I once did an edit of a beautiful church door but there was a sign posted on the door. I had to rip (edit) that sign right down.

Hello,

I noticed the differences on the photos. The writing by the window and the sign. It is a cute house, I love the porch and trees. Enjoy your day!

I noted that you cleaned up the windows. Lovely cottage to be even lovelier.

I saw immediately that you had taken the signs out. It bothered me too. How beautiful, it is a happy house. The porch and trees! I would never leave the porch. Some wicker furniture and a mint julep are in order. Post it again when it is all done!! I am so sorry, I hope a good friend did not pass away.

How dear that is! Now I want to see the inside!
The only thing. I might lay awake nights, wondering what four (or two)-legged creature is lurking beneath the porch.

Yup, all the stickers and construction info. Great job.
In my next life I would absolutely love a porch..with a couple of rockers.
That red color is so inviting too.
so glad there is renovation going on..can't wait for the "to be continued".

BTW, I love the house on your header photo!

I adore your header, and do not remember it from my previous comment! This is the prettiest house I have ever seen in my life. Everything about it is perfect. Wonder why the awning is only above two of the upper windows?

I guessed right. Love the house!

Good editing Sandra. I like the looks of that house.

Saw the difference, and enjoyed those houses. Is there anything more relaxing than rain on a tin roof?

Oh, I would LOVE to have one just like it!! Maybe we could be neighbors! Although we would seldom see one another since our schedules are so opposite!! Still, I bet we would have some fun times!

I would take it in either color and be very happy.
