Memory Moments and ME

I stood in the kitchen making my coffee, Sunday Morning, in my gown, not in below photo. No Photos! I noticed the two items on the bottom shelf are about to run out, turned, walked 6 steps to shopping list by phone,
I stood staring into space. I could NOT think of the name of either item. Irritated to the bone, I walked back to get my coffee and stood staring at the two items. I kid you not, it was at least 2 minutes before I thought of coffee filters and creamer. I RACED the 6 steps and wrote it down.
Not only is my short term memory horrible but my short term memory is horrible.
Current ME..... I have been holding the same weight within 2 pounds, for 17 months. All my selfies taken with Nikon Timer on camera, are in the corner of the kitchen because I can't find anything to sit it on outside and I can't remember to LOOK for something..  Not only is my short term memory horrible, also my short term memory is horrible.

I started to type somtething but then forgot what it was :)
Good for you keeping your weight down. It seem like no matter what I do I can't lose any at all.

Here I am...trying to remember what I was going to type! Oh ya...my weight loss must be brain cells. Ya, that'll do! Cute pose, sweet outfit. Bob must be proud to be seen with the 'new you.

All my life I've heard the phrase 'misery loves company' but being an independent introvert, it wasn't until this stage of my life that I've begun to embrace it.
I really struggle with accepting the current irreversible limitations that aging brings.
Sharing your experiences with us is a big boost to my day.

When you remember the thing that has escaped you, do you shout it out? We do. haha

I love your top in the photos.

Oh, Sandra....this made me laugh. I think we all do these same things. I hate it when I cannot think of the word I want. But it happens.

LOL LOL LOL MS
I read once it is perfectly normal to forget the names of things.......but
if you also forget what you are supposed to do with them...that is a problem.
I love your photos and the outfit. Very spiffy white capris with chocolate top!!

Oh CRAP....I came to your comment section to comment on what you blogged about but I forgot what it was you blogged about. Okay, I am back, had to go look at your blog again, now where was and what was I saying?

It seems we all belong to the same Memory Club.
I think of something I need to write down and it triggers something else to remember...so I write that down and can't remember the first thing...UGH...
Searching for the right word is another one or the name...makes me crazy.
Now that I am working with my friend with Alzheimers ...maybe my memory isn't so bad.....
Its so sad when memory actually disappears.
I love your outfit and to maintain your weight within 2 pounds for 17 months is truly awesome.
I can live with that!

SO glad my dirty little secret's not mine alone! At least you don't go calling the refrigerator a washer? That's my favorite blouse you're wearing! (I think I spotted it hanging on the left side of your closet in yesterday's post?)

Hilarious!! I am the same way. Have to make tons of lists, even for two things. You look so pretty! I have been weighing the same too! I just bought a pair of Lee Riders capris at Goodwill, and they are size 18. That might be big to a super model, but it is a lot better than 3X, which I used to wear!! Remember, filters and creamer! Also, remember filters and creamer.

You look marvelous! How much weight did you lose? All because of sugar? I wish I had your will power. Don't worry about the short term memory stuff...you will remember at some point. I do this too, and it is so annoying! But I am learning to live with it.

You look great.I know the feeling when you just can't remember a name for a simple item.

You are adorable! I have had a couple of moments like that myself. My sister, Deanie really has them. She can’t say her words and it breaks my heart......

Now what was I going to comment on? Hmmm maybe it’s that short term memory thing...hapoens to me at times too, Sandra. I heard that if you walk out of a room into another then you will forget something you planned to remember. But now I can’t recall the term applied to this...maybe will think of it later. And, you did look lovely in the kitchen counter pose🙂

Sounds like you should perhaps put labels on your jars and containers and things...? (I do a lot of running to and fro when writing my shopping lists too.)
