Village of The Arts- Artsy

Across the street from the not so Ugly Duckling, was the purple house with the Big Chicken.

And next door was Jerk Dog Records, as in selling old Vinyl records. THERE it was.  A mural. I love it.

Click HERE if you wish to see the village houses one by one, on the Village Web Site.

Warning! Pun PHUN ahead!

The tables have turned, it is time to face the music with MadSnapper. . Vinyl's are Groovy and records are a sound choice....

I love that house with the pink fence on the website! I like this purple house too. It would be perfect for me, as it only has one floor and lots of big windows. The mural is so well done that it looks like a photo. Vinyl records are making a big comeback.

Love the sunny spot with the red chairs against the purple house. And your close-up of the mural.

Very colourful. It must cheer a visitor up to go and look at the way each building is decorated in the Arty Village. Thanks for sharing Sandra. I think it was a hot time of day when you went there so much appreciated.

That mural is ah-mazing! Love the detail on his eyes; and too funny about the dog lifting it's leg on the olden player. (Can't think what it's called.)

I'm thinking members of the Red Hat Society would adore today's house. I think I'd be most inclined to live in that two-story with the wonderful porch and balcony. You?

It all reminds me of the 70's!

I love these pretty houses. Every single one is unique. No cookie cutter houses among them! I’ve never wanted to live in a house that looks like everyone else!

That purple house would make a great studio. I really like it, especially the chicken, though I might have to turn it into a rooster. Enjoy your day!

I think that is Adam Lambert from America Idol - not 100% positive tho.

Marietta has the BIG CHICKEN TOO!

I would love to walk around this place. I have seen a lot of those chickens on our road trips and I always want to take one home with me.
