We had our Tops Christmas party, 18 attended, the food was delish but legal.
we sat 18 present in front of 18 people, and I read a Christmas elf story with a lot of lefts and rights in the story. Each time the word left or right was said, the presents shifted to right or left. Sometimes they went left 3 times. When the story ended with RIGHT there, the present in front of you belonged to you.
Menu was
Canadian Bacon
Avocado deviled eggs
Brocoli Quiche
Fruit Salad
Veggies and dip
Banana Bread or Vegan Bite Cookies
You might recognize the berries and green vase. |

How fun! I wish we'd thought to do that at with the ladies at Bible study.
You know I'm nosy by nature ... so I NEED to know a) What you got, and b) how to make those avocado deviled eggs. (Please-and-thank-you.) Now my mouth's watering!
what a fun left right game. How did you find a story with all the lefts and rights in it. I love it and your menu sounded delish

Oh yes, the avocado eggs caught my attention too!!! As did the broccoli quiche and fruit salad... aw heck, just hold the bacon!!! Love that game idea for the pressies - am going to try and remember that for when the Macs get together. I am guessing the story was made up by yourself? Elfter all, you are the Wizard at that (despite your protestations to the contrary!). YAM xx
What a terrific idea about the gift giving. Fun, fun.
And the menu ... wow! They all sound delicious and good for me. Recipe shares??
You are such a fun person! Loved the game you played! What did YOU get? Inquiring minds want to know!
That is a great game...I don't know where I have been that I have not heard of it. But would be so much fun. Sounds like you all had a fun time.
What a fun way to do a gift exchange. You had a good turn out for your party. The menu sounds delicious.
What a fun way to do the gifts. I bet there was a lot of laughter too. Lovely table and decorations.
The brunch sounds yummy and "legal".
Doing some last minute shopping for some stocking stuffers and finally getting a few Christmas cards in the mail...I keep telling myself, its the thought not the timing...better late than never.
